I go lower than MFP. But I play a game of chicken with my calories. I still lose 2 lbs per week, but it's tricky. During the week, I eat 1400 (it's about 200 less than MFP). I have my 2 cheat meals, but sometimes I find I tend to go over some on some days. I let my body tell me. Some days, I'm cool with 1400 after eating…

I've been off and on for about 2 years with MFP. Doing this with a partner will make this much easier, especially if you eat the same meals together. The best tip of advice is to do cardio. Use those calories and add to MFP. By doing so, you'll have extra calories to consume thus making snacks easier to eat while still…

Blah, I was typing quickly and meant lying down bench press. And I'm doing 6 reps, 2 times. And I'm using dumbbells.
-
Oh and I already do heavy low reps currently.
-
Bummer. I always look forward to the bicep curls during my full body workouts. I also just recently read that it could be complete elbow extension too. So I bet taking it easy for a week with low reps and perfecting my form might be the best option.

lol yeah. Especially if they are still talking to their friends while the bus is sitting there waiting on them!

To all nay-sayers, I completely understand dangerous weather. With snow, I understand some concerns with the depth and the temp outside. That goes the same for possible hail and tornados. I also understand distance to bus stop, so parents taking their kids to school are fine. I don't have that problem. Yeah, I live in…

Sounds like your diet wasn't in order at first. You may have adjusted your diet over time and now you are losing weight. Losing weight is about controlling calories in or controlling the amount of calories burned or both. If you lose calories that what your maint level is, then you will lose weight. Doing the same arm…

DOMS = delayed onset muscle soreness. It's very common 48 hours post exercise. I've had some last 4 days after a high intense workout. It's all normal. Your body isn't use to the work and soon if you keep doing the same thing, it will eventually feel like nothing to do the same workout. Post workout stretching is supposed…

Hey Scoobies, I don't think it's possible in short term friendships but long term yes. I know a young woman who had a gay friend (I know this doesn't apply 110%) but she was friends with him through high school. At one point, she was curious and he wasn't 'gay' yet. She developed feelings, they acted on it - just a kiss,…

We enjoyed it. I am really honestly ready for PA4. I need what happened with Hunter!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though now I understand the history.

Speaking on the treadmill deal, it sounds like deathstar is speaking about inaccurate reporting of calories burned. I agree that his choice of diction was very confusing at best, but one has to really dig deep to understand the meaning. "Research has determined that holding the treadmill handrails will reduce both heart…

Not sure if someone has said it already. Sorry in advanced! Basically, have to do this one way or the other. If you use "sedentary" or whatever option you choose from MFP, you can't count cleaning. This is part of that formula. On the other hand, if you want to do the formulas yourself to be near 100% accurate, then you…

That's what makes it so good! It is really a basic use of a camera that makes it feel real. I'll agree sometimes the "scary part" is really cheezy but up to that point, it's really funny waiting for that scene.

What!! If they go backwards, they might have to answer the one going forward! Wait until #4. lol Then say that.
-
lol. Sounds like trolling to me.

I like this response too. It goes hand in hand with what I am saying. I really believe in #5 though. I also have a lot of weight to lose so it is easier for me to lose more weight than someone who is 180 trying to be 170.

I generally think it is alright. There are going to be much hardcore dieters to comment, but I want to say there are two things I've realized. 1. Your body adjusts over time to the diet. 2. You lose weight and you require less calories. So, I am a firm believer of having a good meal as the first replier said. I call it a…

Rock on! I will send you a friend add. You can see that even those that are strong want some cravings now and then. :) Though the only life saver for me is that my doctor put me on 1500 calories a day, so I truely have a buffer but I ignore the extra.

I'd tap Sookie. :D Sookie Impression: Beal (Bill in southern form)

You will always be tested. It's true that if you start a healthy life style, that you will be less tempted to continue to eat junky. However, a few things that may pop up... Family, friends, coworkers, etc take you to a place you enjoy. You know you love the grilled stuff, with nachos, cheese, extra taco, etc, but do you…

There is always a conspiracy theory. lol. Are there any facts to prove people lost their jobs, etc?
