It's called the transmitter but I am not sure where you can get a replacement from. Possibly the Polar website but might be kind of expensive.

When I first started exercising I used The Biggest Loser also. I liked it a lot although I am not sure if the calorie burn is correct or not. I have yet to do it since I got a HRM.

The first thing I noticed was that you restrict yourself to 800 Calories a day. You are probably not eating enough to sustain. Maybe you should eat the calories that MFP suggests and still exercise see if that helps you.

Invest in a heart rate monitor if possible. I just purchased a Polar for a decent price.

I know this is going to sound weird but I put deodorant on my legs before I run to help with the itching. I jog usually 4-5 days a week and if I don't put deodorant on my legs they itch like crazy. The feeling of it has never gone away. It is the only thing I have found that works for me and gets rid of the itchiness.

I'm in the same position all of you are. I want to loose 100+ lbs. I lost 18.2 lbs in the first month and I am looking forward to working hard for more results!
