Sorry to disagree Fatdoob but the Garmin Vivofit and the Polar lloop link into selected HRM too so you can use that for exercise. Firstly as you haven't got a huge amount to lose, I think you should aim for 0.5 to a pound loss. This will be slower but more sustainable. MFP is set up so that you DO eat back your exercise calories as you already have a deficit built in. However, that is reliant on an accurate measurement of calories burnt. The best way…

Me too! I'm 48 ( 49 on Saturday) and have about 7 pounds to lose. I loved Total Synergistics today. Can't wait for tomorrow.
