How long has it been like that.

Thanks. I'm also thinking about RWH or XTrain as they are shorter. What's the difference between the two?

Hi everyone. I'm thinking of starting STS and combining it with running/ Beachbody cardio DVDs on the three other days. I know STS is quite old now. Is it still the best strength workout to do? I'm planning to join her membership on demand thingy.

Hi I've not been on here for age but I'd love some advice. I have been dong an online video training programme by a UK trainer called Julia Buckley. I enjoyed it but now just want something different. What I love about it was there were three 20 min sections each day of strength, cardio and stretch. Would I be able to find…

Thanks everyone. Going to order it now.

If you link it to runkeepet, does the map you run ink into the Garmin app to show your route.
-
I'm waiting for it to come to the UK. Interested to see what people think of it.

Take a look at the Garmin vivifit and the Polar loop. Does strps and you can then add on the chest strap to monitor HR for exercise.

One thing I disliked about BR was all the balancing stuff. Is BS the same?

Thanks everyone for your advice.

Ok. Decision made. Going to get seperate units. For his birthday this month, Going to get the Edge 1000. He can use it with his trainer too and it will plan set mileage routes for him. For Christmas I will get a HRM for running. Will look at the 620 with HRM run or the one with the funny name, which will also control the…

Are the power meters not about £700. I'm possibly thinking of a forerunner 610 for Christmas.
-
Thanks veloman. I suppose I thought more expensive would be best ni'll look at the 810 and 510.

Thanks handy andy

I do the strength workouts with CE but do running and my own stretch. Have you also thought about Bodybeast.

Thanks aron.

Sounds like someone is pirating it. I'd contact kayla itsine and check she knows about it. I CANT ABIDE pirating.

Ok. This is my latest plan. Thinking of getting the edge 1000 with a speed and cadence sensor. He can use this for outside riding and using sufferfest. Will get the Garmin run HRM and so at a later stage will get him the 620 for running. Does this sound like a good plan.

Thanks. I'll look at that too. I just feel if I'm bearing him a bike computer, I want him to pleased with it. Don't want to,spend money for the sake of it though.
-
Oooooo. Just seen there's an edge 1000. That looks REALLY cool.
-
Thanks I just looked blooms interesting. I'll meed to check that his trainer is compatible.

What's 'Trainer Road'
-
Thanks. It seems like trying to get something to use for both isn't the answer so I'll look for individual gadgets. what he's got already are old. I need to wait until he's out of the house to check what they are though. I suppose if the new ones haven't got a lot more, it a bit of a waste of money. Any more present ideas.
-
Thanks. A trainer and sufferfest videos have been previous presents.

I'm even more confused now. Not sure about Fenix 2 now. So difference between Fenix 2, 920 xt, 620 and 810?
-
Thanks everyone. He's already got a trainer. I did look at the 920xt but he doesn't swim so I wondered if I could find something cheaper that doesn't have that function. I meant the 620 by the way. So with the cycling functionality, how does it compare with the 810.
