  • Holy shnikes! All those replies. Well I don't have the loose skin, but by reading some of the post I think it may be because I wear the bigger basketball type of shorts. When I run they try to like do this weird climbing thing. Today I ran again despite the pain, and it didn't hurt until the end and I saw it through, cause…
  • What? Heck you should see the MLB list of teams I like if you thought that was bad! I like and watch all sports especially baseball. To call my self like a "true, die hard fan" or whatever the heck its called well.. Ok whatever. Those are the teams I like, watch on tv and follow statistics on. You should see my cell phone…
  • haha! Like the inside of my leg feels like I now have or have had and still have tiny cuts. Its hard to explain, lol. I cant commando it, because it swings around like a jump rope(a thick jump rope btw lol, jk..not) and I just feel weird. But yes my boxers briefs and all the above they like climb and slice my legs right…
  • I dunno what a PR is.. =o( thanks for all the info everyone, very helpful. The longest run I've ever done was around 8 miles and I did not need to replenish or anything during. Until after the run of course. Thanks for the info about the crowded area for the race, I'll keep that in mind for when I get there. I look foward…
  • I do like football, but...Hockey has my heart... Lets go Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Black Hawks, and my poor Carolina Hurricanes!!
  • Beautiful, Hot smile, Dangerous =o)
  • Oh great! Now I have to eat during the half way point? I was wondering how far the body could go with all that, and I understand. Maybe A power bar of some sort would do th trick, even though they all taste like doody. Thanks for the tips though, I'm very excited to get my run on. Three half marathons.. lol. sounds good!…
  • Oh yes, I've already been running daily besides weekends at least 3- 5 miles daily. So although its not marathon training running Im working up to it. Its a good time and I enjoy running and cannot wait for it! I have seen Brooks will have to check those out. Ive always been a new balance fan, I'm sure Ill find something,…
  • Yeah its pretty exciting, I think I'm getting old. I used to be excited about the hockey season starting or NFL season starting, now I'm excited about a half marathon and buying new shoes for it. The terrain is flat for this race and it should be a fun first, can't wait!
  • Older post, but still great results. Although I haven't completed it yet, I do know what the workouts are like as Ive done all of them, just haven't completed 60 days. Congrats to you, very good, and a job well done. I hope you got that t shirt and wear it proud!!
  • Start now, don't wait. I also don't think you should wait for your "Monday" to start. Fact is, most people who start on Monday don't make it through. True story. Let Wednesday, or Friday be your Monday!! Just like I always say, why wait until January 1st to have a resolution? Start your new YOU...NOW!! Insanity encourages…
  • lol, awesome, maybe I'll see ya there!! I'll be the one at about the 6 mile mark saying "FML".. =o)
  • Since your a runner and got that experience, what has been your experience as far as running shoes? Fact is I can run forever, I feel great before, during and after. However, I'm pretty positive my shoes give me issues in my shins. Not full on shin splints, but they make me feel it so I can always give 100% if ya know what…
  • I lost almost 30 pounds in one month at a time when my military career and a promotion depended on it. For breakfast I had a slim fast right when I woke up, drank nothing but water. Literally, water only. Besides the Slim fast. For dinner, it was Healthy Choice only. Only...There was nothing else. Water, Healthy Choice…
  • I'm working my way to a half marathon going in Novemeber in Georgia!! I cannot wait. Sounds weird, but I'm excited about it. Anyone got any tips or info? right now I'm running about 30 miles per week at an average 3 - 5 miles per day. Im all eyes for any tips leading to the run. My first marathon t-shirt!! Woo hoo !
  • KFC is so darned delicious. My only thing I can say to try to get around that, is make your own grilled chicken at home. Which would be healthier for ya. It would also save you money as well.
  • I think a lot of "I'm being watched" is in peoples heads. A lot of people who go to the gym might watch what you are doing but it might be and usually is I would say so that they can learn something. I'm not one for going up to a random chic at the gym, but conversation between work outs isnt a bad thing. It has been said…
  • So I click this, and thought I was going to see some hot chic, and I did.. So that's great. Then I read the actual post and quit looking at the picture and said, "oh, ok"...lol
  • All you have to do is put them in windows movie maker, and add some music or effects and that'll do it. Go to >start then find Windows Live Movie Maker, click that then up top you will see the option to add pictures. You can then add music and such.
  • Are my thighs too big to wear shorts?? uhhhhhhhhhh, no. Looks good to me.
  • I love the taste of tuna by itself and can eat it all day! However it has to be in sunflower oil. I know this may add or take away something or another but thats fine by me. I love my sunflower oil tuna, its delicious.
  • Ending of Lost!! Was so mad, cause even after 6 seasons. I still didn't get it !? Good series though
  • Insanity works, you must eat right and drink lots of H2o! Doing the 60 days and changing your bad habits will show results. there is no equipment needed, everything done is using your own body weight for resistance. Good program, although I've never completed it.
  • Never Ending Story. =`o( I can't belive the horse sank in the mud
  • Hey there, welcome!! You can do it, this is a good place to get started and look for support, very good people here. I wish you luck!
  • Definitley, unfortunatley they don't tour much in South Carolina. So I have to go to Virgina and North Carolina for them. Edit: Yes they are very expensive!! lol..
  • Well done and well said. I agree with everything you've said here, especially in regards to the cheat day. I believe all it does is ruin what your working for. Good work, you are a success story!
  • Wow all your personal opinions of it don't sound to bad and I might just have to give it a try. Only reason I stepped away from it, is due to me literally having to force myself to do Insanity day after day. I dont like work outs like that. I do like to feel a burn and being sore lets me know I've accomplished something. I…
  • Wow, everyone thanks for the advice and the thank you's. The pleasure is all mine, and I'm glad to still be serving. Congrats to you and your husband for finally calling it quits!! I have until 2019 for my retirement. I'm all better now, thanks. Nothing besides headaches and memories now, and I'm doing absolutely fine with…
