(4) We're going to eat it anyway.

I don't see how it matters. Cigarettes have a warning label on the box that says they'll kill you, people still smoke. Illegal drugs kill people everyday from overdose, but it doesn't stop someone else from overdosing the next day. This is sugar. People are not going to stop eating sugar because excess causes obesity or…

Yeah, I looked at GoBites. They are cheaper per snack (14 for $28 versus 4 for $6) but I know me. I'll eat all 14 in 2 days, then plunk down another $28 to do it again and again. Graze forces me to control myself in calories and expense.

That might take you a week or two to level out. You can eat 100-200 calories below goal for 7-14 days and you'll be pretty close to where you were. But if it were me, I'd chock it up to live and learn and enjoy the biggest game of the year guilt free and move on.

Think about what you have to eat as options today, then go into the diary and log everything in advance. See how it matches up with your macros and calories and that will help you to know what to add or take away, then follow that as your first day guideline. A lot of people still do that despite being on here for years.

Google vegetarian sources of iron. Iron supplements should not be used unless under a doctor's advice. Taking tablets because you are "feeling low on iron" is a dangerous game of roulette.

Did you eat cyanide? Heroine? Toxic waste? Half a cupcake? You could not have possibly done enough damage to warrant an emergency "detox" eating regular food.

Yes, you can mix with water. Add a few blueberries, maybe a peeled clementine, or whatever fruit you like and put it in the blender for natural flavor. If you have fruit juice, that makes it even simpler. Just use the fruit juice instead of water. You can choose your protein (whey, pea, rice, hemp, etc), flavor or…

You can buy unsweetened protein powder. Sipping on 2 servings throughout the day will give you 50 grams of protein.

Check it out at the library in case it's not worth the money.

INFP. I've taken it about a half dozen times over the last 15 years and get the same result every time.

Sugar is sugar. The advantage to raw honey is only over pasteurized honey. I'm vegan, but I make an exception for raw organic honey, which looks like an opaque paste. It is not pourable or translucent. I scoop out one teaspoon a day, half the serving size recommendation which comes to 30 calories. The reason I eat it is…

Try doing a search in the groups forum for whatever condition it is you have by name. You may find it's already been created. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups

Medically, there's no real answer other than to drink less. It takes about 1 minute per ounce of water to absorb through the lining of the stomach. If you're grabbing a 16 oz bottle, take your time with it so all 16 oz aren't dropped in at once. That will give the stomach time to slowly empty out before you drink more.

Citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruits. One cup of orange juice contains 500mgs. Fish, especially halibut, tuna and flounder (all contain 400mg+ per serving) Beets, 1 cup of beets is approximately 15% of your daily potassium dose Bananas each contain 450mg of potassium Tomato or prune juice Honeydew melons Lima beans,…

Protein powders are awesome. I agree with the above. I don't supplement with them very often because I get protein from soy products, but the powders are a great bridge to fill that gap with little impact in other areas.

If I could eyeball food and guess the calories, I would have never gotten fat.

I see you like yogurt. Try buying plain unflavored yogurt and mix your scoop of protein powder into that. It will taste more like pudding that way. Maybe a chocolate flavored powder. Your numbers are pretty close, it's your exercise calories burned bringing you under. Long John Silver and Taco Bell wouldn't be my first…

You're comparing apples to oranges. Either even it up to 2000 calories worth of macro dense foods versus 2000 calories worth of micro dense foods, or 1200 of each. Calories are calories. If 1200 is a deficit, a person will lose weight regardless of composition. If 2000 is a surplus, a person will gain. Someone could lose…

LOL!!! I don't blame you.

I wouldn't contradict doctor's orders. There must be a reason he suggested such a lean fish over the obvious, more readily available fatty fish.

When on vacation, I end up eating out more often. There's no way to know what exactly is in a meal cooked in a shack on the east coast of Oahu owned by a husband and wife who don't even have a website, let alone nutritional facts on their Japanese/Polynesian fusion menu items. I try to choose sensibly, but if I'm going to…

Genetics, culture and heritage all create a unique recipe. It's up to you to figure out what works best for your makeup.

Nope. That's not enough to matter. It's always better if you have to go slightly over on one thing that it be in the protein column. Excess protein can be broken down and used as calories. Excess carbs can not be converted into protein. You're fine.

It's a fish. It and flounder have very similar compositions. Google sole and flounder recipes. Just keep in mind sole is nearly twice the price of flounder when you budget for groceries.
