where are you doing these activities....and I can't see doing jumping jacks in a skirt. I try to get up every half hour or 45 minutes, and I walk after lunch. In the winter I guess I can walk indoors, but there is still no place to have a mini workout session.

No. Well not yet. I either go after work, and go home, or I go to the gym and back home. i don't feel comfortable--the showers are frosty glass. ...that's really not fair. Energy (or lack of it) doesn't always have to do with your current weight. If the OP truly feels tired and has no energy, it could be the signs of another problem that has yet to be diagnosed. I know 350 lb people who can walk circles around people half their size, but I also know 150 lb people…

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think a lot of folks who say they hate salmon have never had a properly cooked piece of salmon. Mu dad cooks salmon for an hour. yes, an HOUR.

I was going to ask the same question, because the EXACT situation happened to me--was going to use Splenda, but a coworker suggested Truvia. She said the artificial sweeteners make you hungrier. I'd love to hear the community's take on this before I go to the grocery store.

When you make your appointment, inquire about a larger robe. ask that one be set aside. based on your size (height, not necessarily weight) you might just need a man's robe. you don't want a too short robe!

By skinny, I am assuming you mean 'fit'. But skinny skinny people could be intimated too! They might be afraid to look weak next to the dude who can bench 200 lbs.

I will admit i was a little self conscious because I was worried the equipment was going to be hard to use, not because I'm fat (which I am). I did have some trouble but the gym staff was very helpful and didn't sound judge-y at all .

I go to Planet Fitness, and they are very big on 'No judgement'. Perhaps there is one near you, or gym with a similar slogan? Or go with a friend if you can.

I always got the impression it was for someone who wanted to drop a quick 5 pounds or wanted to fit into a dress or something, but wasn't for massive and long term weight loss.

The purpose? for me it's money and creativity. I love meat...LOVE it, but it's interesting to see what else you can make that doesn't include meat, and it can be cheaper, and as filling as a meal with meat if you do it right!

I take the day off, but I am not that into random fried stuff. I do love meat though, and my plan is to split everything.
