OMG..have FUN!!! Don't worry about the one day! We were up there for the Michigan/PSU game and I let myself go loose and enjoyed it!! That's not saying you can't make SOME healthier choices, but you have to learn how to live and find moderation. One day of heavy eating and drinking will probably cause you some fluctuations…

BUMP!! THANKS!!

Ahhhh...trying on clothes can be SO frustrating!! I don't think that you've quite stretched out your current pants that much...especially if they're still quite large after washing!! I very clearly remember when I lost my first 10 lbs and felt my pants were getting loose doing the same thing...and I had the SAME results…

True or not true...it's hilarious!!

Yes! There's nothing wrong with teaching kids that it's not all about winning. I get that part of it...but they also need to teach them how to both WIN gracefully and LOSE gracefully!!

I just saw this on my news thread...really?? These parents can't dedicate their time to something a little more important, or some REAL bullying that is certainly out there in their school? Yes, something maybe should have been done to help have a more even score, but this "every kid gets a trophy" type of thing and…

You deserve to gush for that!! Way to go and keep it up!! :drinker:
-
That is FABULOUS!!!! GREAT NSV!

an old thread...but you are all my heros for eating :) bumping to read later

bumping to read later...sounds like some good info I'd love to hear about!!

FABULOUS results and a great program!! You look wonderful!

I'm a newbie to lifting and currently have been working with the body beast program for 4 weeks now. Like everyone else said, it's about the reps, and what it takes you to get to "failure". It also depends on what muscles you're working and what kind of sets. I can tell you that I use a range from 5 lb weights for light to…

THIS is exactly how I am...it's ridiculous

Steelers all the way!! I can't believe just 5 minutes ago I turned down box seats to the Steelers/Ravens game this weekend. Stupid family functions!!!

T25 isn't quite as intense as Insanity, but sounds like you still have a lot going on with zumba too, and since you're fairly new to "consistent" workout as you say, I would agree to hold off until you finish, and then maybe a second round you can start incorporating weight lifting. Although T25 isn't "weight lifting" it…

I'm not sure how that works out in dollars lol, but because it's a newer program, you probably wont find too many deals on it like you can the older ones. But so far, I would say that it's well worth the price for folks short on time...heck of a workout and FUN!
-
WOW!! You look amazing!! Thanks for sharing! I'm doing T25 with 3-4 days body beast now...looking forward to a full round of it now!
-
Agreed! I had great results with Insanity alone, and am now on T25, incorporating Body Beast. Insanity is a tough program and I would focus on that alone to get your best results and also to ensure you stick it out, and then you can move onto other programs. I had the same idea when I first started Insanity, thinking I…

Every single one of you ladies is a huge inspiration!! Bumping for inspiration when I need it!! I've recently added weights to my cardio, doing T25 as my main focus and body beast as my secondary 3-4 times per week. I'm not far in, but already excited to turn the tables and do a round focusing on body beast!!
-
T25 and Body Beast hybrid of sorts, with T25 being the focus
-
Personally, I've added 3 days of Body Beast - the 3 upper body days. I also have P90x (had not previously ever finished a program before insanity lol) and had considered adding those, but the body beast are a little shorter and more time efficient for me. They seem to be all about 40-45 minutes, but I skip a few things in…

I've just finished my first round of insanity and loved my results, but I will admit, that it took at least 6-7 weeks into the program until they were really visible and there were many frustrating days feeling as though I was killing myself and then not seeing changes. I certainly "felt" them and also was dropping inches,…

Absolutely AMAZING!!! You've come such a far way, and on the healthy train it seems as well! A major key in being able to continue the process for life!! Congrats!!!
-
this is fabulous!! I've never heard of this book, but you can be assured I'll check it out of the library asap!!! I've been committed to getting healthier and dropping weight for over a year now, and now I've been trying on and off very hard to kick this last habit too and unfortunately, much more off than on :( It's…

you are my hero!!! AMAZING!!! CONGRATS!!!

omg...THIS! it's so hard! and how many AWESOME things are we doing for our bodies, and yet that nasty horrible thing continues?? I would've thought it to be easier working out so much!!
-
My final pictures are up in my profile for anyone interested! It's not huge, as I don't have a ton to lose, but it's pretty huge for me since I've stalled out over the last year or so!! Final numbers are 7.4 lbs lost, a total of 13 inches, 1 bra size (cup AND band) down, shirts medium to small and pants 6/8 to 4/6!! Good…

Thanks jmc413...you've just confirmed my worst fear!! Football season is upon us which means yummy food and beer! Maybe I'll have to add running every day to be able to eat as I've become accustomed to. LOL! I'll give it a shot though. Taking off next week for just runs and recovery and then I'll jump in the first week of…

Hi all! I am on my last 4 workouts of insanity today and am ready to go for T25 next!! I'm curious about my calorie change with burning less on T25 than I do on insanity. On insanity, I eat about 2000/day and I've been consistently losing fabulous inches and still have a little bit to go! BUT, my body has become so…

I was having this same debate forever!! I miss my weights...and I was thinking the P90x and insanity hybrid, but I've chosen to go with a round of T25 next, and since it's only 25 minutes a day, I figure I can easily add my own weight routine, or a few of my favorite P90x videos in addition. My knees and joints need a…
