i love love love love zumba. I did it when I was 167 lbs more and I do it now. I do it a lot better now because my body moves better, but I loved it both ways. Find a great instructor and its a blast! now the videos I did not like

I bet that you are over counting. I am thinking that you are missing some calories during the week and going over 500+ calories one day a week can set your work back during the week.

1 lb a week almost isn't bad. if you want to lose more, you have to more a little more and eat a little less (or instead of eating a little less you should invest in a food scale) so that way you are eating more accurately. We didn't gain weight over night, so we won't get to lose it over night.

I would say you are underestimating what you eat. Or you are spot on most of the days, and on your 'cheat' day you are eating back all of the calories that you sacrificed that week. Doing my second half marathon in 3 weeks (just signed up last week) ha ha, another half in October.. any quite possibly a full marathon in the Spring next year.... but I think I may be crazy. Thanks everyone for the nice comments =)

My biggest advice is to go to a running store and get some real running shoes. I didi that and I haven't had any knee or other problems and I was pretty overweight when i started.
