Just keep doing what you are doing. I get some of the same things, not from everyone, but from enough people. My 'favorite' is wow you are wasting away to nothing, pretty soon we won't be able to see you. Thanks for the underhanded comment, but no thanks. I just keep doing me and realize that it's their issue/insecurity,…

I have been open with my friends and family since pretty much the beginning which (for me) has been one of the best decisions I have made. I found that it helped me keep myself accountable and was easy for them to help support me. I have found some people along the way who haven't been the most supportive, but they dont…

I missed February by 3 miles because of a mild injury the last couple of days and because of the month being short-- did 97 miles instead of 100 :/ So for March my goal is 103 miles to make up for the 3 that I missed last month. I did 10 today, so already off to a good start =)

So to answer your questions-- I started training on the treadmill because I was scared of the cold weather, etc. I joined a local running group- I didn't realize that a lot of running shoe stores have them. That has helped me keep motivated, go outside in the winter, etc. They know where the side walks are clear and when…
-

I like these things called 'pro bar' they are like gummy worms or fish, but they taste better and come in all sorts of flavors. I start them around an hour and then every mile just have one. I usually only use a half pack (1.25) for a 10 mile run.
-
Just do it-- if you have a race scheduled, it helps with motivation and you will do fine =)
-
outdoors-- even if it is raining, cold, snow, etc. I prefer outdoors 100 times more than the treadmill

Thanks =)
