Yes, I did. That is because I went through this before as my body was not getting enough nutrients. I up'ed my caloric in take by 100 calories and I began to see weight loss again. I also gave other good advice, which others have seemed to over look. Op already said that starvation mode is not her situation and that is OK.
-
I thought that we were all adults here. If you don't agree with my advice, OK. How about just give your own advice instead of bashing mine. Thanks.
-
Exactly what I was trying to say. Thanks!

Your metabolism could be in starvation mode if you are eating below your calorie limit. This can cause your body to create fat stores because it is in defense mode. I advise that you up your cals, workout at least 3-5 days a week and watch your sodium in take as well. Sodium in high quantity causes water weight gain. I…

Any diet which limits you to one type of food for a long period of time seems destined for failure... in my opinion.

1.) Chicken 2.) Steamed vegetables 3.) Eggs

I workout 5-6 days a week. My cardio exercises are usually 60-70 minutes long. The cal burn is usually between 750-830 cals each time as well. Depends on how I feel that day. I use a stationary bike with levels of resistance and a cal counter.

My favorite quote is: "What are you doing to lose weight?" --As if healthy eating and exercise isn't obvious. Yet, they so look stunned by my response. Another response that I have gotten from a friend was: "I am so jealous of your weight loss. I want to lose weight too. " --That is really annoying to me because I don't…

When I was 200 lbs, I felt fat physically but it really sunk in when I would shop for clothes (nothing would fit), look at myself in a full length mirror and saw pics of myself. I hated and avoided getting my picture taking all of the time after that. Now, -37 lbs later I know that I am still fat but feel much more…

I eat on average 1200 cals per day. I am not starving myself, my body is satisfied. 3 solid meals and 2 snacks work for me. It depends on what you eat too. I get lots of protein and stay within a limit on my carbs. I focus on making each meal nutritional with veggies, a carb and protein. I also like fruit and yogurt. To…

I realized that you were trying to be supportive. However, may be should watch the way that we word things.

I am sorry that that happened to you. :-( Some people get pleasure out of making others feel bad about themselves. You just have to push forward and not care what anyone has to say. 36 lbs ago, a child called me "a big b****". Yes, it did hurt but I used it as my motivation. Even though I still have a ways to go, I am on…
