Im curious... does it hurt to be as ignorant as you appear to be? I mean physically? You are trying to tell me that the laws of physics have been disproved by your friends who eat all the time and dont gain weight?
-
Dude - its a friggin LAW of Physics. They bring it up because it cannot be disproved because its A LAW OF PHYSICS

There are some people in this world who clearly need to be junk punched.

Exactly. Which is why holiday eating is unavoidable.

I just spent 3 hours making the most succulent Christmas dinner you have ever had, served it to you with impeccable plating on our finest china. You're going to tell me you don't want to eat it? Why? Does it suck? Do I suck? Have I done something to hurt you this year? Why don't you love me? Why? WHY?…

People want to see what you are eating so they can give ideas as to what you can change so you dont HAVE to give up the things you enjoy. I learned to adjust my diet so if I so choose, I can have a martini or scotch after work most nights. But all you want to do is complain about the advice given and only look for…

Curious what kind of exercises you are logging that arent in the database?

I have read it both ways. LBM sounds a lot smarter. :)

The default MFP macros are all sorts of messed up. You need more than 40 grams of protein a day. The general rule of thumb is 1g of protein per pound of body weight. I would check out a site such as Scoobys (http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/) and use those numbers.

Going on a 7 day cruise on the 16th, so my goal for November is to not weigh more on Dec 1 than I do today.

Also, do you measure everything you eat or are you just guessing/eyeballing? A food scale is essential, at least until you have some experience with portions. But yes, what aszwarc said... you need to eat more than your BMR. 1970 sounds about right. Also, if you are eating your TDEE, you shouldnt be eating your exercise…

If you are losing weight eat more. If you are gaining weight, eat less. If you are exactly where you want to be, dont change anything.

I know, right? My wallet isnt big enough to hold all these $100s.
-
If you are losing weight and you dont want to, yes, you should eat more.
-
I would use Light. Better to underestimate calories burnt than overestimate.
-
If you have been logging food and weight for a while now, you can calculate your TDEE ((Difference in Weight Today and 4 weeks ago) * 3500)/28) + Average(last 4 weeks of calories eaten) It doesnt have to be 4 weeks. You can use 2 or 8 or whatever. Personally I track my TDEE as the last 4 weeks and base my -20% off of that.…

Guess. If you're off but 500 calories, its a big deal for a day... but not much of a deal once you realize that you arent losing weight for a day, but being smarter about your food for a lifetime.

Method 4 worked like a charm! (And FAST!)

Have you ever lifted weights? Man, those things are HEAVY! I did (and do) cardio because I love riding my bike. Helps keep my tdee up too. I like food. I like a lot of it.

You'll be fine. Wisdom teeth are no big deal and it might affect 1 meal. Dont stress it.
