https://youtube.com/watch?v=da1vvigy5tQ Hey Brandi, One Keto-er reporting in! lol Youtube popped a Tedx Talk from one of my Subscriber lists; Dr. Hallberg on reversing Type 2 diabetes. I'm not diabetic, but my glucose levels had been climbing. So, after more research, KETO is the perfect fit. Fully involved, one is never…

+1 I spun as an amateur cyclist back in the 1989-1995 time frame, and I ate whenever I wanted, and as much as I wanted, and never gained a pound. In fact, my BF went from 14% at the start to ~8% when I finished. Diet was largely carbs, low fat, with chicken and fish thrown in for good measure. The key is consistency; I…

However, I did have a 31" waist and 5% BF at the time. Good thing the beer was free to the Razorback football players, and friends - - - no…

Are you allowed to mention specific doctors/names here? My scientific studies come from a guy who has an MS in exercise physiology, trains/trained Olympic athletes, etc. I'm guessing he knows a bit more than most of the people posting on this forum. Anyway, got better things to do now. Gotta fix my baked potato with sour…

I didn't say you have to eat every three hours, but to space the meals "at least" 3 hours apart. It has to do with insulin resistance in the body. Your caloric intake per meal has to do with your LBM, and total weight, etc. You would have to be measured to get exact numbers, but if you violate the cal/meal rule (mine is…

Double the calories, don't eat more than about 400-450 cals per meal, and space all meals/snacks at least 3 hours apart. Don't guess at what you are eating; get a scale and weigh the amounts (i.e., calories). P.S. I did Optifast 25 years ago (400 cals/day - 70% protein), and lost 93# in 6 mos., and kept it off for over 6…
