I love hula hooping. Great way to strengthen your core, improve your balance, burn calories and have fun. Check out Hoop Plus Fit with Scarlett and Bee Vargas on YouTube. They have some great workouts from beginners on up.

The app BitGym is FANTASTIC. You can use it to walk or run (also bike or row). It's a scenic video that keeps pace with you by using your front facing camera. You can cast your phone to your TV if you have one in front of your treadmill.

Adjustable dumbbells (I use Powerblocks 50 lb adjustable) and Fitnessblender.com videos - lots of free strength wo's and you can search for upper/lower/full plus wo length. They have a few KB videos too but I prefer Pat Flynn videos on YouTube for those.

I have an original Garmin vivoactive that's still going strong, so not in a rush to replace it, but have been eyeing the FR245 and FR645. The 245 doesn't have a barometer and I do like to run stairs, so that's a bit of a letdown, but not the end of the world. Definitely will be following this thread.

I hated the finale of Murder House so much I gave up on the show but a friend convinced me to give the other seasons a go since they are different story lines. Glad I did. In order of preference: 1. Asylum 2. Freakshow 3. Coven 4. Hotel (the acting was awesome it was just too graphic and violent for me, I'm a wuss) 5.…

I'm currently doing the low end of moderate carb but when I'm at the high end of low carb I can have one portion of rice, potato, pasta, bread without suffering any cravings. Jelly beans, gumdrops and similar candies - I eat one portion then I wind up finishing the bag before the end of the day...which is how I regain…

Ha my husband & I talk about our dog nonstop. I'm currently wearing an "I love Dogs" tank top and have on scotty dog earrings and am about to take him to the park for a walk. How old is your pup? Do you have a Facebook page & Instagram & YouTube set up for her yet? We just posted a zillion pics & videos of him at the beach.

If you are on your feet assisting customers and walking about the store straightening things up, set your activity level to lightly active. If you are carrying and unpacking boxes of inventory every day, plus stocking shelves & racks, plus carrying merchandise back and forth often, mark your day active.

Actually you don't eat meat with every meal and eating a half ounce of meat is not enough. Try to eat about 4 - 6 ounces of meat with every meal, a cup of veggies and then have some discretionary carb like fruit, potato, rice or cake. I see you tend to go for packaged foods - there are cans of tuna, chicken or frozen…

Use large lettuce leaves in place of bread for sandwichs. There are low carb breads on the market (The Great Low Carb Bread Company, Toufayan, Mama Lupe) but with so few carbs in your allowance you might want to save them for a tastier carb. Low carb breads tend to be either dry or rubbery.

Rather than pick apart every little thing someone says to me I tend to look at intent. There are times I've heard "Have you lost weight? You look great." and times I've heard "You lost weight. Are you ok?" and neither has offended me - because the person asking meant well.

I prefer fresh but I eat frozen shrimp. The best fish I've eaten was fish I caught and ate as soon as possible. A few times I've been on a boat with a grill and we ate the fish within minutes of being caught - doesn't get much better than that.

You're not kidding you're stressed. You're giving your body less fuel & demanding a lot more from it. Unless you are close to goal weight this intensity has no where to go - are you going to do 5 hrs of cardio a day? Go back to eating 1500 and start doing some interval training. If you prefer walking then walk and add a…

It's going to depend on the size. If it's the long stretched out size then approximately 80 -90 cals a piece. http://www.eiyoukeisan.com/JapaneseFoodCalorie/zryouri/tenpura.html

Eh some people suck. Either grow a thicker skin or get a tank top.

Sweet dark cherries & a piece of dark chocolate.

If you prefer cardio you might like to do kettlebells for your resistance/strength training. I love them.

I eat what is considered low carb - about 75 to 100 grams or so a day, but that is pretty high to some who follow very low carb diets or keto diets. How many carbs are you trying to stick to? If you plan on sticking to 75 - 150 grams there are some good recipes at…

Fantastic job! You look great and no doubt feel so much better too.

I originally went from 183 to 138 and then decided to "go on a bulk" because I felt I looked too scrawny. That was a disaster - I gained 20 lbs when I had only intended to gain 10. Anyway, here I am at 183 and 155. Size 16 and size 6.

If you are eating low carb be sure that you are eating extra fat - that should keep you feeling fuller. Strawberries with lots of whipped cream, avocado, nuts, brie cheese, bacon.

I do low to moderate carb depending on my goals and find that I need to either eat some carbs right before running OR run after at least five hours of fasting to not hit a wall energy wise. If you want to continue doing low carb try one of those thing. Some low carbers swear that some MCT oil before a workout gives them…

I noticed a couple of years agao my knees were sounding like crunchy potato chips and would swell when I started running or when I 'd do lunges so I went to see an orthopedist. He said my knee cartilage is shot and not to squat or run or I'd need a double knee replacement in 5 years. I switched to kettlebell goblet squats,…

FYI cauliflower peeps - Trader Joe's now has a frozen "riced cauliflower" so no more pulling out the food processor and making a big old mess.

Probably just fluid pooling in your hands but if you are walking a lot of hills and perspiring a lot and drinking plain water (or no water, yikes) try putting a teaspoon of salt into your water with some lemon. Sometimes it's sodium loss that causes swelling.

You might find runketo.com interesting. Endurance athletes doing a keto experiment.

So glad your first date went well! I bet he was nervous too. Who isn't really? If the scale is not up the next morning you're pretty much in the clear. Every so often ya get lucky like that. Do it again the next day though and it's pretty much a 5lb water weight gain. And don't be surprised if that little bit you lost…
