Hear, hear on the entire box of Velveeta mac and cheese. That was my go-to after a Friday night of drinking, which meant 8-10 pints (yes, over 2 GALLONS) of beer. Then hungover Saturday would call for 2 entrees and an order of spring rolls from my favorite Thai restaurant, grazed on over the course of the day, with snacks…

Last month spent about $250 for my boyfriend and I, that's vegetarian and mostly organic. 1500 calories/day for me, 2500/day for my boyfriend, 30% protein. My goal for this month is $200. The dry goods I buy at the grocery store tend to go on sale every 4-6 weeks, so I'll stock up on items to last until the next time they…

There's a great story on Nerd Fitness about Staci, who has packed on a good deal of amazing muscle, and she shares her thoughts of going from an untoned size 0/00 to having a healthy, strong, muscular body. You can google it to find out more. They have both the original story they did on her and an update from 2 years…

Bump. My guess is grams (because grams don't lie), but have no evidence right now to back that up.

I regularly don't eat dinner until 8pm and have lost 60 pounds. Unless your bedtime is 8pm, you may be setting yourself up for some late-night binges by setting this rule.

Genes. 50 pounds ago I thought I was an hourglass...turned out that was just a heckuva lot of fat sitting on my chest and hips.

That is a great, reasonable, completely do-able goal. You CAN do it!

Did you use user-entered values? Those can be very inaccurate.

You're doing the right stuff by being here and keep track of what you're eating. What sorts of workouts are you doing? If all you're going for is to get back into that size 8, weight lifting can get you there, probably well before you lose 15 pounds. The best things I did was 1) get a food scale and 2) start lifting. And…

Wow, all this breakfast talk makes me want to have breakfast again for lunch. I like a few more calories for breakfast, with a hefty serving of protein, and I usually take it to work with me because I like to get out the door as quickly as possible in the morning. My new favorite is: Cooked millet, quinoa, whatever grain I…

Wow, these are all great ideas! My addition is that a pressure cooker is magic for cooking beans, and they are not expensive. I refused to bother with chickpeas for about 10 years after some disastrous efforts of trying to cook them years ago, but tried them recently in the pressure cooker and am now willing to add them…

Yes, of COURSE you should get back on track! Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and climb back on that wagon. No one can give you a specific number of days until you feel physically better, but you will likely feel better even after your first day of being back on track. Best of luck. You can totally do this.

How fantastic! Way to go!

Nerd Fitness has a great beginner body weight workout circuit plan. All one needs is their body and a gallon milk jug.

My marker for pants is: if I can pull them off without unbuttoning/unzipping them, it's time to officially go down to the next size.

Check out the Post Punk Kitchen site. She has a great recipe for making a seitan loaf (Tofurky) from scratch, minus all the extra ingredients you don't need. Roasted brussels sprouts make such a delicious side, too.

Cucumber avocado soup. I used the recipe below, left out the pomegranate seeds and added 1-2 avocados. A.ma.zing. http://www.patismexicantable.com/2012/08/cucumber_soup_with_pomegranate/

I started off where you are, 5'7", 210 lbs, B cup. Now down to 170, have lost 4 inches off my chest, but still holding strong at a B cup.
