Definitely log it. Eat it and log it. You don't want to re-post three months from now asking why you're not meeting your goals. Don't get into the habit of tricking yourself into thinking you're logging correctly when you're omitting foods. Don't cheat yourself, you got this!

Can you do light weights or body weight exercises that don't contain high levels of cardio (crunches, leg lifts, dumbbell exercises, etc.)?
-
Yes!! My fix for one and two is to get others around you in on the healthy lifestyle and you can hand down/swap clothing as you go. I haven't spent as much on clothing since I've gotten more people involved.

I got one a week ago. Loving it so far.

I bring healthy snacks for the ride (if I'm driving). I get a room with a fridge/microwave and go to the local grocery store. I look up restaurants close to the hotel and check out the menu for healthy options. Last but not least, I have FUN!

I've found good deals on Amazon, hit up Walmart when they are having sales, Target, and 5 below (yoga pants $5). As long as I'm losing weight, I don't care if I'm not fancy. Oh and free race shirts get used often!

I found that when I had my goal set for 1.5lbs/wk it was wearing me out and depressing me. Once I set it at .5lb/wk I did much better and I'm back on track. Sometimes you just need to revamp your goals. Good luck.

Yup. I did it back in October after a bad cold. By the time I felt better I was off the wagon. I started over in January and have been going strong since, just don't give up.
-
Congrats! That's a fantastic transformation.

I'm a work in progress..

Move more Count everything Don't compare my journey to anyone else's Don't backtrack into bad habits Don't do anything to lose that I couldn't do for a lifetime

20lbs until I felt like I could see a change. 30 for everyone else to take real notice.

That fruit is bad for you.

I'd leave it and check in my weight for today. It happened, it's in the past but you can still learn from your old habits and data.

The only time I've been under by that much is when I had the stomach flu and all of my liquids equaled a very low calorie intake. That never happens when I'm well. Like NEVER.

Hi Gayle, Welcome. :)

What a jerk. Do not ever feel ashamed for working on yourself. Try walking or jogging in place in addition to walking around your house. Put on some music and dance a little, have fun with it. Or you could just bust outdoors and walk around the neighborhood. Whatever people think about you is none of your concern. Make…

I just joined a challenge to do 2,016 miles in 2016. I may have to join this one.

Ugh. I know quite a few people with that response. I once told someone who kept asking what I did that I joined MFP and counted calories. They said they would go crazy weighing food and counting calories. My reply was that I was "going crazy" because my scale was heading toward 300s and now it's heading toward the 100s.…

You can sign up for walks or races. It is a good way to improve your pace, endurance, and it is a great way to be involved in your community. You could do volunteer work, donate to charity, etc. if that feeling of "doing more" is not food or exercise related but something else.

My job has food out ALL THE TIME. I used to think it was awesome. Now I just ignore it for the most part. I try to look at the treats as if they were plants or knick knacks (unless it's brownies then all bets are off). I like to bring in fruit, almonds, or popcorn for my snack to ward of temptations; however, if you REALLY…

LOL! Be afraid, be very afraid. Oh and was that Kasey Kasem's voice as the announcer? Sounded like him.

I don't have a pic but today I basically had a veggie omelet, now picture it scrambled. Scrambled mix maybe? No idea what to call it.

I log breakfast after it happens and pre-log lunch and dinner most times. Sometimes I will wait to see if I'll eat anything else and forget to complete the diary for the day but pre-logging definitely helps me stay within my daily calories.
-
I stop eating after dinner which is typically between 6:30p and 7:30p. If I am out it could vary; however, I totally agree with others, the time you eat doesn't matter. The calories in and out do.

Feel free to exercise the "block" option on anyone who takes the time to click on your page and initiate a rude message. I find that most people who like to antagonize others are hoping for a response, blocking them tends to send a very clear message. ;)

I had a c-section with my second child (emergency not planned). I wanted to breastfeed but because of the pain meds the doctor suggested I pump for a while first. I was VERY overweight, hell I was obese but my doctor simply told me to pump the milk, eat lots of green foods during this time and and it would help keep my…
