  • As a Mom of two girls (5 and 2), I'm struggling with this already. Thanks for the lovely post!
  • I told my self that this time, I would do whatever it takes! I have had to be selfish and this has been my priority. Guess what....it's working! I've worked it into my lifetyle. You can too. Do it!
  • Or...just throw that ice cream away
  • Take a walk!
  • Chew some sugar free gum :) Also, edamame. Comes in those little frozen boxes. Steam them in the microwave and it will keep your hands and mouth busy for awhile.
  • Congratulations on all your hard work! Your man looks super stoked to be standing next to such a hot mama! Keep up the great work!
  • Well, no but this week has been super duper tough. I'm crazy hungry. I'm in a serious push this month for big results. So, I'm trying to resist some of these hungry urges. So I'm chewing gum and drinking water...but it only lasts for so long....then I'm hungry again and stressing about it.
  • :) Get it girl! This works! you're looking good. Keep it up!
  • A guy corrected my form at the gym and it annoyed me. I wasn't looking for advice, but I'm a novice. I know he was trying to be nice, but I just wanted to say "Who asked you?" I felt embarassed that he was helping me, ya know? IDK...just wouldn't suggest it unsolicited!
  • When it's time for everyone to hit the pool in their bikinis....they might be rethinking all those comments they made!! You do what you want ! Have fun, enjoy yourself....you're young. These friends might be creating habits that could lead to problems with their health and weight. Hate to say it....but....that's what…
  • I would suggest trying to do something new together. Something neither of you have done.... maybe take a new class (cycling or ropes) together, once a week, and keep the rest of your workouts seperate. Seems like a good compromise for you, and you both can share in a new experience.
  • JERKY! Tons of protein
  • Mondays are always super hungry days for me. I typically eat more on the weekend, and sleep in late. When Monday morning comes I'm hungrier than usual. I just try to be prepared with lots of healthy food on hand, so I don't turn to something "bad". Drink water, coffee, chew gum....anything to get thru the day without…
  • Great, thanks! I'll check out some threads. Didn't know what it search. These workouts are mostly machines, with a little bit of dumbbell work and a few squats, etc. I'm just learning my way around still. Would love any tips!
  • Sounds like ur doing the right things, and u have made some progress! Do NOT give up! U will regret it later. Maybe take a closer look at the food ur making at home....get ur water in everyday and keep going!
  • FIBER! Ultimate macro to keep hunger at bay. It can bring along some farts, but you won't be hungry. I have been loving Quest bars lately. Got them at GNC, full of protein and fiber and after I eat one I am SO full! I normally just eat half of a bar for a 100 calorie snack.
  • Waking up in the middle of the night to eat sounds like less of a diet issue and more of a sleep issue! That does not seem normal! lol Late night snacking, before bed, is one thing. But it does not seem healthy to wake up to eat. I don't know... I would say that if you can consciously refrain yourself from eating in the…
  • Great work and Go Reds!
  • I went through a stage with this squishiness as well. It will pass. As your belly gets smaller, there's less to jiggle and it's less noticeable. You're just noticing one of those changes from being totally bloated and barely fitting in your own skin, to having a bit of extra room. Keep exercising and you'll tighten up!
  • You have to let go of being self conscious while exercising. And, after you've been at it for a few weeks, it will start getting easier, you'll feel less awkward and you probably won't care what you look like at the moment. If you start to feel self conscious, envision yourself 150 pounds in your wedding dress! Two things…
  • I also would like to lose 100 pounds this year. I started at 276 in january (i'm 5'7") and have lost about 22 so far. I'm feeling great, people are starting to notice my weight loss and it's motivating me! I have two small children (3.5 yrs and 15 months) and my hubby and I both work full time. I've tried to lose weight SO…
