When you start to plateau in Stronglifts regularly then you switch to a the 3x5 programme on the SL website :) And you haven't stuffed up by doing Stronglifts first. If you want to switch to NROLFW then just switch. You haven't messed up your starting point or anything :)

Oh dude I'm slow as crap! I do a 5k in like 37/38 minutes :( In the past I have gotten my 5k down to 31 minutes. The way I did that was running longer distances most of the week and on Friday I'd do a 5k. Every week my 5k got faster. It's like your mind/body knows that 5k is no longer a big deal so you run faster.

Parallel at least and lower if you *can*. Olympic squat (high bar) allows you to go lower but you can't get as much weight. Power lifting squat (low bar) allows more weight but you can't go as low. You still break parallel, though. Parallel means the hip joints go lower than the knee joints.

I've only ever run in the rain during Summer so I just wore my old runners and my usual running clothes. They're those quick dry synthetic fabric clothes. I always rub sun screen on my nipples, even though I don't need it for the rest of my body. I like to avoid that runner's nipple heh.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if you did 30DS. Jillian was trying to say that she's developed her techniques a lot since it was released so her most recent programme would probably incorporate those years of experience. Then again, maybe she just wants you to buy the new one :)

I think I'm slower than you hehe. It does suck when every other jogger whizzes right past me. Then again, *most* of the other joggers are not doing non-stop endurance runs. I do have another 20kg (44lbs) to lose and I think running with less weight will help be get faster.
