Good luck with everything, I joined MFP long before I ever started actually seriously tried to lose weight, but biggest advice I guess I could give is probably don't set a specific date that you have to meet your goal by otherwise it really adds stress and that won't help at all, that has been one of my biggest differences…

I've not really hit a plateau of any specific weight, I've kind of gone in spurts, I'll lose weight for the first half of a month then kind of sit where I am for the remainder of the month, then all of the sudden the new month comes around and I drop a few more pounds. The most important thing to remember I think (and…

Great question, I have tried that before and had some good success but then when it wasn't new anymore it became very difficult to maintain, because in real life (at least for me) everything has some level of carbs to it when you go out or look in the pantry (since I have kids, they weren't on the low carb thing with me of…

Again, not sure of any good papers that I can really reference, but off and on I've eaten a can a day honestly probably an average of 3 or 4 days a week for years now and I'm still kickin'. Call me crazy but I like the taste....

Hi fionarama, funny that you mentioned that just this morning I was kind of analyzing my iron and I'm always under so I just started looking through the kitchen and reading the food labels, I've decided to start each day ( or most anyways ) with a bowl of some form of a cereal with milk (this morning I had a bowl of 2 cups…

As others have said you can for sure see a difference! We are usually the hardest on ourselves so whatever your goal is just keep persisting and you'll get there its just a matter of time thats all.

Tailbone issues can really be painful, one thing that was mentioned by stefraab was the possible bump, I'd say if you had an actual serious tailbone issue it would be extremely painful. A bump back there could be possibly some sort of absess those can be painful if they get infected, if its a real problem I would have a…

I'm glad you asked that question I was wondering the same thing myself, spent almost an hour last night trying to go through my foods to try and figure out where it was all coming from but everyones comments make perfect sense.

Sounds like a good plan I took a look at the ten minute trainer program, seems to be something that would be easier to stick with for sure being condensed and making definite use of the time. Good luck with everything , add me if you'd like.

Awesome job! Thank you for sharing, obviously it probably feels great to share your results with everyone because they are amazing, but its also a huge help to others to see that it can be done. That's just awesome, it really is!

Hi Chris Just started on MFP as well, your goal sounds a lot like mine, I'd like to burn what I've got on top and then hopefully build some additonal muscle, are you currently lifting weights as you are trying to lose weight or kind of lose then build up the muscle? Tim
