Fluid retention in your muscles. If you're sore, your muscles are holding fluid, which can temporarily add up to 5 pounds to your weight.

If you're thin, then strength training is pretty important to tighten up and develop muscle tone. I would suggest you do more of the blogilates videos (follow the calendars, maybe?). And to lose the weight, add cardio and track your calories. You can look much better by New Years Eve :)

Just drink until your pee is clear.

I don't think you should force yourself to eat when you're not hungry or don't feel like eating (unless you have an eating disorder, which since you're concerned about your decrease in appetite, I don't think you do). Eating less than you should isn't dangerous short term, so don't be worried about it unless it lasts more…

My advice: Eat at maintenance calories for a while, scale back on the cardio (only 2x a week), increase strength training (3-6x per week). Make sure to lift heavy for the strength training. And make sure to eat enough protein.

I read in a book (Perfect Weight America, I think) that your macros should be 40% protein, 30% fat, and 30% carbs. I really liked the book, and it made some good points. And it had recipes in the back (I loved the chili, and the protein coffee; if you do the protein coffee, try it with chocolate protein powder, that's my…

The 16.1hh :) Because he's shorter and cuter, lol. Love the breed  (hope the way his back legs look in his conformation picture is just the way he's standing, though) http://www.equine.com/horses-for-sale/horse-ad-3481803.html http://www.equine.com/horses-for-sale/horse-ad-3502265.html

About 100 calories in 15 minutes. I just log it as the Wii Fit hula hooping (MFP says this only burns around 45 calories in 15 minutes), though, because it doesn't feel like a good workout to me, and I'm sure I've overestimated the calories burned doing something else anyway.

Aww, nobody wants to play this game? :frown:

Push mower? Yes. It burns 300 calories an hour, and I'm usually sore the next day after mowing.

Breakfast burrito (using a homemade whole wheat tortilla). I made 23 of them 2 days ago and put them in the freezer. Now I have enough for 3 weeks of healthy breakfasts :) They're small, so I'm initially hungry after eating one, but after 20 minutes or so I'm good until lunch.

Ok, then yeah, we have programs like that :) I think Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem are like that. Yeah, that workout is great. I've been doing it for maybe 6 weeks now (trying to do it 3x a week, but really only doing it 2x a week) , and I've noticed more muscle definition in my arms, my butt seems nicer, and when I took my…

I'm from the midwest in the USA, what about you? For weight loss, I'm just following the calorie (and trying to get close to) the macro goals that MFP gave me. Doing an equestrian strength training workout (this one, but not currently doing any regular cardio: http://www.hunterjumperconnection.com/rider-fitness.html) 3x a…

Aw, thanks, lol. Is polocrosse the full name for polo, or is it something different? And are you guys able to post topics in the group? If not, let me know what topics you want added

I never heard of camp drafting, sounds interesting :) I don't think it's done around my area, though

Awesome, I love Irish Drafts and Irish Warmbloods, they both look so beautiful and athletic :)

I ride English (hunt seat), working at a barn in exchange for riding time. My family was given a horse (Mustang) by my cousin when I was 11 years old, and then I got my own horse (a Tennessee Walker) for my 12th birthday. I used to ride in a Western saddle or bareback, but changed to English when I started working at this…
