I have one. I hate to admit it but I tend to fall for such things. I own Mighty Putty. Sigh. Well, lets just say when I use it (which isn't often) I tend to feel it more in my back.

well said! Thank you, I needed that right about now :)

muscle!!!! This is all very good. You are shrinking in all the right spots. You will eventually lose fat around the gained muscle in the other areas as well! Congratulations :)

I grew up in Frederick MD, but am now in NJ. You can search your area if you go under "find members" and enter your zip. Good Luck!!!

I sometimes do the same thing!!! Especially when I am not feeling like doing anything... it kinda locks me in. I feel committed to getting out there and doing it and besides it would feel terrible to log back on to delete it later!

I would focus more on eating quality, REAL foods!!! You just consumed a whole pile of toxic chemicals, nothing to really nourish your body. Read the ingredients on that fat free cool whip. YUCK! Chemical sweeteners should always be avoided. I cringe to think of how much you just consumed eating a whole box of sugar free…

just bacon. The foods mentioned above are what was once considered "A King's diet". Uric acid stones are relatively rare. Did he have them identified as such? They are almost always calcium.
-
what he should avoid are foods high in purine. Those that are highest include: hearts, herring, mussels, yeast, smelt, sardines, & sweetbreads. Other foods that are considered moderately high are: anchovies grouse mutton veal bacon liver salmon turkey, kidneys, partridge, trout, goose, haddock, pheasant & scallops.

i count it as water, especially herbal teas.

Until very recently I would always go on a completely empty stomach so as to ensure that I tapped into my fat stores for energy. Like your husband, I do find that feelings of hunger go away once you start working out. After a few instances of feeling really dizzy, however, I have begun eating a banana and having coffee…

is this the one that includes hot dogs, vanilla ice cream and canteloupe??? lol. If so I tried it with my mom back in the 90's just for fun (before I really had weight to lose) I think we did lose a few pounds, not 10 though. Its all a matter of calories in/calories out. There is no magic food combination for weight loss.…

Are you, by any chance taking Ambien?????

If you are eating back your exercise calories, the number next to "remaining" should be zero (or close to it). If 1200 is your base calories and you burn 500 calories exercising, then for that day the # you are shooting for is 1700 calories.

good for you!!! Keep up the good work : )

we just made a spinach dip with it! turned out great. Used the knorr vegetable soup flavor pack and spinach just like you would the original way, instead we just used the greek yogurt in place of the mayo and whatever other creamy white stuff it calls for. I also like to use it for tadziki.

when you say your sodium levels do you mean your actual blood levels or your sodium intake??? If you mean your blood levels, the YES, off the chart levels are a serious problem!!! But if you are just talking about how much sodium you are consuming in a day, then no, I doubt it is a problem. Dietary sodium does not really…

the LDL being elevated is actually more of a concern than your total cholesterol. I would focus on taking measures to RAISE your HDL (the good one) such as by exercise and eating a healthy amount of good fats and fiber. A nice high HDL will lower the LDL. Good Luck!

it should be above 50 ng/ml !!!! So you are indeed deficient. And yes, this could be why you are having trouble losing weight, because your body may think it is in starvation mode. What other tests came back out of normal range? You can inbox me if you like.

Hey there, South Jersey.... pretty close ; )

I have a prescription for it and take it VERY intermittently as I find in very hard to tolerate the side effects (nervousness, heart palpitations, dry mouth, sleep disturbance). I find I am losing weight at a nice slow steady pace without it. It just feels safer doing it that way.

twice a day is ideal. Try adding psyllium husks (metamucil) to your diet. I personally find the powder form that mixes to a thick drink realllllly hard to choke down. But they make capsules!!! Take these with plenty of water and you will be pooping like a champ. It is not a laxative, just insoluble fiber so it is perfectly…

join you local Groupon.... I notice mine (Philadelphia area) offers tons of 50% off massage offers. Massage is awesome but can be an expensive habit!!! I often feel guilty as a therapist charging the going rate.

Hi, I am a massage therapist and registered nurse. The info in the ad you read is actually accurate. Wise of you to look at it skeptically though, advertisements can definitely claim ridiculous things. Massage also helps free the connective tissue that encases muscle tissue which aids in muscle development. Your massage…

look up subclinical hypothyroid. They are starting to recognize people may be suffering from hypothyroidism with levels once thought to be within normal limits. Dr. Roger Murphee is a pioneer in this area. I believe his site has a link to find endocrinologists that recognize subclinical hypothyroidism. Good luck!
