Just feeling comfortable in general. Not feeling my legs rub together..... bending to tie my shoes without the obstacle of my gut to contend with.... being able to get up from playing on the floor easily... the list goes on, but you get the idea.

Following the logic that a breast is a "private", "sexual" body part I find it offensive and downright creepy to see people openly feeding babies in public out of a fake breast (bottle). I have never seen an exposed nipple when I have encountered public breastfeeding, however, people display these plastic boob replicas…

I'll most likely be snarfing down a yogurt and Luna bar while hiding in a supply closet IF I actually get a chance to run off and take a break while working an 18 hr shift in a dingy old nursing home

just saw a bunch of different brands on Amazon

raw veggies or popcorn to snack on and my go-to super low cal dinner I make when I have hardly any calories left for the day is a soup made from veg or chicken broth that is loaded with veggies (usually celery, onions and carrots for me but anything will do). It is always yummy very filling low-cal and loaded with vitamins…

Yes, I agree with this : ( I looked through your diary and was appalled to see that your daily calorie goal is set at 600?!?! How did MFP even allow this? I thought 1200 was the minimum? Sigh, please, please, please get help for this.

exactly. Also, these random buildings look nothing like the World Trade Center.

well, if you compare 100grams of chicken egg to 100 grams of quail egg, it does indicate that the quail egg is slightly more calorie dense at 158 calories compared to chicken egg at 144 calories.

Love Nutritiondata! They go so much more in depth than just giving the cals/fat, etc. I especially love that they include the inflammatory factor! Very useful resource.

I would def go with what the machine says; I find MFP's figure is waaay generous!

Happens to me too. It is most likely increased bloodflow (a good thing!) Did you drink a 5hr energy prior to working out, by any chance? Sounds an awful lot like a possible niacin flush you are experiencing! I take therapeutic doses of niacin prior to working out or using a saunna. If you inadvertently did this, I can see…

Me too! In fact I just went today. It is amazing how much pain that itty bitty little piece of nail can cause. I don't give a darn about the pretty paint job (although that's a nice bonus!), I basically use them as a podiatrist.

re-inserted a G-tube

hahahaha. So glad you are ok!!! Man I can barely manage to swallow a pill!

"Being a parent to small children means that every day has at least one extended period of SUCK. You're not getting through a single day unscathed. " hahahaha, yup that about sums it up!

Earthshoes!!! Love them. They feature "negative heel technology" which slightly slopes you back, taking tremendous pressure off your feet as well as other joints. I have both sneakers and nurse's shoe by them and will never wear anything else when on my feet for extended periods!

wow! I am very, very surprised your doc cleared you to return to exercise so soon. Six weeks is pretty standard procedure after that. Your body is also giving you clues that it is still healing ( the inability to drag yourself out of bed super early, etc). If you do get back at it, please take it slow!!

I didn't realize that one of the reasons people were scared of GMOs was because they feared they would somehow alter their DNA. Wow! That is actually pretty funny... and sad.
