I basically marked out 1.5m path , i ran for time 2x week and slow distance 2x. Remember a warm up and cool down stretches ect. I havr done the fitness test for Police Scotland at Jackton. It is made up of lapping the building, it includes up anddowns on the road. You also start with a half hour warm up inside and a couple of laps around the building. Like everyone else has said you need to do your main training outside. Maybe keep the treadmill…

Wow thanx very much for that, very informative view , i bought it on ebay for a couple pounds and it shld arrive 2moro. I do Insanity a couple days a week but needed something new to try. I want to increase strength since insanity and my running covers cardio. Fitmolly what dvds do u do?

Thank you very much for the info, i think my form is slowing me down. Really need to fix it. The only problem i find with Insanity is sometimes my knees are to sore for a run. I still go out but just a slow long run , after a soak and stretches they feel bit better.

I started Insanity at 145 and when i completed it i weighed 146 but less body fat, im going to do program again amd follow the diet plan this time as i struggle to.eat 1500 cal and think i need to eat a bit more . Will just have to force some snacks down lol :)

Iv been told we do a short jog for a warm up before the test so i shld be alright that way. The advantage during test will be that il try keep pace with the others to a point just because i dont want to be last lol. Its only 1.5mile, i need to be able to complete it in under 14mins . Best iv got is 13.53, but i want to reduce as close to 13 as possible. Its for police recruitment uk

Iv read that when some people have hit a plateau theyv upped their calories an odd day just to shake things up. I dont mean loads but maybe an extra 200 and change an exercise a week might shock your body and hopefully move the lbs again.
