Well, day 10 done... Didn't really have much energy or motivation to push it this morning, but I guess that's my 30 days! I'll probably come back and do the workouts occasionally, just for fun :) Thanks for all the support guys!
-
I did D8 L3 yesterday... didn't do all three, because I did P90X yoga X - couldn't wait to get started!! So close!
-
Hey Chica, Are you doing the low carb recommendation for the first part of p90x? If so, and you're either just beginning the program, or you have a relatively low BMI, that's probably your problem. On another note than most people have been saying, I really am only raring to go before exercise like 1/10th of the time. Most…

Woo, I'm so happy about all the momentum we have going in this thread! I was so stoked to get going, I did YogaX today just for something different! I'm pretty sure it was really great for me to get all the stretching in, but it wasn't as much of a workout as I thought it would be. cnacnac I'm assuming you are asking me? I…

thanks guys! That's a flattering dress, I still definitely have a large amount of excess weight on my hips and mid section... It's just really the only recent picture I have!!
-
Do you do the whole, lay against the wall with weights on your legs thing? (Like whenever you are reading, or knitting, or just need to relax a few minutes?
-
I agree. I've been running, swimming, or hiking every day along with the 30 day shred. Also, at the very end, some of us have started doing doubles or even triples... (ie doing more than one level, or more than one round of a level a day). Not that you have to, it's a great program, but if you want to work out more in a…
-
that's awesome!!! I need to start retraining flexibility at some point, and get my splits back... How do you usually train? PNF?
-
I'm just finishing the 30 day shred, and I SO highly recommend it as a great way to get into strength training! There is such a difference in my overall muscle tone / mass! And the workouts are only twenty minutes, so they are super easy to fit into your day! You can buy it on amazon a level at a time for download for…

Man, I can't wait to start this!! I'm starting ready to move on from the 30 day shred at this point... LOL
-
D6 L3 (all 3 again too)...

Hi, I'm a 22 year old college student, and I'm determined to lose all the weight, whilst doing awesome in college. Feel free to friend me! I've got about twice as far left as you to go... Good luck!!
-
The crazy leg soreness will be gone by day 5 or 6, just keep going! I think level 2 is the hardest in terms of pure push it out effort, but level 3 is different, and really great. I've done 25 days straight now, including the last four days doing "triples" (ie all three of the videos in a row) Amy
-
Definitely not only for ladies, everyone is welcome! Good luck! Do you all have a pull up bar, or are you planning in doing it with the resistance bands? I'm starting off with the resistance bands, and have a pull up bar in my door when I get home from NY! Amy

D5 L3 (D4 all 3) Man, I wish I had taken measurements at the beginning of this...
-
Woohoo, that's good to know! Those are some pretty awesome results :p. Glad to have a veteran on board to help us along! And 2stepz, hope you join us anyway! I don't think it matters really that we're all at the same place, I'm sure we'll get off kilter as the 90 days goes by!
-
Wow, everyone's doing so awesome! Home stretch! I can't wait to see all your final results! Are any of you guys interested in starting p90x over the summer once you're done with the 30 day shred? A couple of people from this thread are planning on starting on June 6th, and we'd love the same kinda support group we got with…

Yah, I did the same thing with my nutrition goals... How many calories are you going for? I was a nutrition level 2, which they were saying meant I should be eating like 2100 calories... I upped my caloric intake from 1200 to 1400 and changed to their percentages, but I just can't imagine eating 2100 calories... One of the…

D4 L3 (and D3 of all 3). Only 6 days left... still cheating on some of the pushups and arm moves. Overall, much, much better though. Oh, and I bought size 8 pants yesterday. That's a major NSV for me!!

My diary is public, and I am very consistent about logging! Right now, I'm starting P90X, so Im trying to keep myself within the 50%/30%/20% protein / carb / fat ratio they recommend, and damn, it's hard!!! Before these few days, I ate a lot of fruits veggies, low fat yogurts and cheese, sandwiches, and wraps! Feel free to…

I'm all for the way we are doing it on the 30 day shred thread, where everyone posts when they complete a workout! Also, especially if you guys plan on following the nutrition guidelines, I have a feeling we're going to need support with that. I've gotta tell you, my first two days of low carb have NOT been fun. I mean,…

I meant fun in the "Oh my god I'm going to die" sense. :P Anyway, D4 L3, (D2 all three. Wooooo!) I'm DRIPPING!
-
Wooohoo! :). What do you think about taking our before pictures, and all posting them here, and then at 30, 60, 90 we can all post pictures - to keep up with peoples progress and stuff?
-
D3 L3 (& L1 & L2). Wow. So I did all of them at once. Anyone that has an hour to spare, and wants to do a serious workout should try it out. I haven't been as exhausted as I was by the end of level 3 in ages!! That was fun. Off to run a few miles now *devilish grin*

man... I went up a pound last week! I can't bring myself to post it! I'm still fighting for below 160 before I leave for New York, I'm going exercise crazy this week!
-
I think it was skinnylizzy that inspired me to do this, but I'ma try and do all three levels of the shred back to back from now until the end of my shred... Great way to prep for p90x!!
-
Have you looked into the body wraps? Some of the claim really good results - shrinking skin, healing stretch marks, cellulite, etc. I've never done it personally, but maybe you could ask around and see if any MFP'ers have. I'd be curious as to the answer.
-
D2 L3 done. Wow, I hope Level 3 lives up to my reviews of it for all of you! Please let me know how it goes!! (PS, I used to be a gymnast [reference profile picture] - so all the plank stuff is right up my alley...)
-
Man, you look great!!! Thanks so much for posting this! You're only about 20 lbs down from me, and I can't wait to be able to rock a bikini like that! Wooooohooo.

My boyfriend is 6'4 and about 150... very tiny thin. He doesn't necessarily eat that badly, like some of you are saying, I think he actually mostly sticks to reasonable calorie totals. He runs, and is starting to work out more, and is completely supportive of me losing weight, although he doesn't quite understand why I…
