I feel your pain, as I'm currently searching for a new PCP too after my previous one moved...I think it's really hard finding medical providers that recognize how hard it is to lose weight with PCOS. I've gotten the "work harder" thing before too, and I know how frustrating it is. Keep searching, you'll find a good one.…

Of note, there are many Paleo-diet followers that consider beans, lentils & legumes as "non-paleo" (including soy beans, milk & tofu). Without eating fortified grains, dairy or meat (even if you choose to eat beans/lentils/legumes), you are potentially risking deficiencies in key vitamins/minerals. If you truly want to go…

Something that has really helped me with the meal-planning aspect these past few months, is that I found a couple of local grocery delivery services that are reasonable (1 that is mainly organic produce/dairy, and 1 that is organic pasture-raised meat/eggs from a local farmer). I have set deadlines each week that I have to…

You *might* be ok wearing it on your wrist instead of higher during workouts. I'd try it for a workout or two, stop & check to see if the HR monitor is functioning, etc. I sometimes forget to adjust mine & push it higher, and yet I get very few interruptions in the reading of the HR on the HR chart. And my HR tracking for…

I wonder if you got a bum tracker? I've had my Charge HR for 5 days (so not an expert yet at all). I did a quick rowing session the other day with my Polar chest strap monitor & with the charge HR on my wrist, & they were only 1-4 beats from each other at any check point. Maybe try switching arms, too? It looks like per…

I'm sure you already know this, but throwing it out, just in case... They have sizing guides on the fitbit website for each type of band, because the sizing does run different between models. I had to print one off because I was concerned about maybe being between 2 sizes. If you have access to a Best Buy or similar store,…

I've had a Fitbit ChargeHR for about 24 hours...but really like it so far. It's experiencing some battery life issues, but after looking at some Fitbit Community forums, it's apparently *normal* for the first couple of charges until the battery "learns." I'd be interested in a fitbit group for step challenges...

@mangrothian mmmm...matcha pocky is my favorite pocky! So good! @SpecialKitty7 you SHOULD get a commission off of the monbento sale link! I ended up caving when I saw the sale was still going on last night and ordered the red panda box...and the bag...and the utensils :| ... Lol

@kramrn77 Ditto what @mangrothian said. If you are working home health, I think this would be TOTALLY worth it (especially over trying to ice down a cooler each day in the car to keep it cold). My parents have one for traveling (my mom is a Type 1 diabetic & has to keep her insulin bottles fairly temperature controlled…

Thank you @satansees ! Bookmarking that link! :)

@satansees do you have a weblink for the recipe for those pizza puffs? It looks great!

I'm a close to a gallon-a-day drinker most days, distributed evenly throughout the day. The personal benefits I see: 1) improved skin tone & texture, 2) improved gut motility, 3) decreased appetite, 4) increased bathroom breaks at my desk job, meaning I move more during the workday.... It's worth it for me, but isn't for…

Wednesday's bento: krab, carrot chips, sliced mushroom, snow peas, blueberries, & peanut butter filled pretzels. 373 calories (59g carb, 10g fiber, 17g protein, 10g fat)

Mmmm... Deconstructed pizza bento? Or cold pizza cut into cute little shapes....Hmmmm. Lol

@sw0312 along the line of raw veggies, I'm a big fan of raw snow peas with sandwiches in place of chips/crackers. Great crunch & sweet. If you need a substitute for crackers for things like chicken salad/tuna salad, endive leaves work well & most grocery stores stock it.

I like making mini fritattas with eggs & egg whites in mini-muffin cups (you can also make them in standard muffin tins) Throw in some chopped, caramelized onion, & some cheese...simple, easy & delicious. I like them cold in my lunch, but they reheat well too. There are all sorts of mini fritatta recipes online, but if you…

i have a 100'ish pound goal too, feel free to add me as a friend if you would like.

@snugglesmacks I love the idea of a Mediterranean themed bento box. Looks great!

Hi! I have a similar loss goal. I too am an emotional and/or bored-eater, so you are definitely not alone. Feel free to add me as a friend. This is my 2nd go-round with MFP, but this time I've actually added friends, read some message boards & what-not, and am finding it easier/more inspiring to achieve my daily goals…

We have similar starting weights & goal weights, add me if you would like :-). I started on Jan 5th, with solely focusing on diet, and now I'm slowly adding in the exercise component. I'm down 10#'s so far :-). (20# over my highest recorded weight)

Thanks @mangrothian . I'm a big fan of it. I guess I should say that there is also some seasoned rice wine vinegar in there, too. But it's very tasty with some wasabi & soy sauced tossed on it. (of note: my last comment re: your post-gym bento box should have said "That looks great!" not "That looks heart!"...stupid…

Eeek @specialkitty7 ....I've had my eyes on the Red Panda monbento for awhile, and that's one of the ones on sale. Must. Resist...Must. Resist... Thanks for the heads-up on the sale, I think  .

So I'm excited :D ... We stopped by a new-to-us Japanese market nearby this weekend...and not only did they have an awesome supply of food (& cutesy bento stuff!!), but they also had an in-store restaurant with amazing sushi! 24- hours later and I'm still smiling. For bento'ing I picked up some travel chopsticks, rice…

I have 100+ to lose too, feel free to add :-). I still need some more MFP accountability pals :-).

You look amazing! Congratulations! This is such an inspirational post! (combined with the 75+ one you linked).

@sunitagt I think you will be surprised how much you can fit. i.e. Strawberries halved or quartered take up MUCH less room than whole berries. I like carrot chips, because they fit better than baby carrots. Melon sliced thin or cubed would fit really well too...

Sharing my bento of the day (still working with just fridge/pantry ingredients). I have some recipes planned for this weekend.. Along with hopefully mastering cooking sushi rice :D . My bento today is a bit higher carb than I normally do, and lower protein. We had a meat-feast last night during a special dinner, and I…
