I keep saying the same thing. I am finally down to a normal BMI....but still have a little belly left. It really pisses me off. Every day I look at myself in the mirror and just think "****...when does this end" (Excuse the language...just giving you an accurate depiction of events). I think we become too impatient with…

Being able to accurately measure your food is obviously the most efficient way to go. However, there is an underlying idea that makes measurements work, healthy food choices. When you are at the buffet you know what food is healthy and what food is packed with calories. They say the best way to lose weight is a lifestyle…

Simply put, you aren't going to do much damage to your diet with a cheat day. If you are sticking to your diet 6 out of 7 days per week I can guarantee you will see progress. I commonly cheat one day a week. I go crazy. A pint of ice cream, spaghetti, or whatever else I feel like eating. However, I make sure that I stay on…

I want you to read this. http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/symptoms-and-solutions/appetite.aspx I think all of the information here is great. Generally speaking, this information applies even when you aren't pregnant. Hope this helps.

No, you aren't going to stall because you eat the same things every day. I have been on the same diet for months now with no plateau at all. You may see your weight loss slow down as you lose weight. That is merely because your BMR is decreasing as your body mass decreases.
-
Do you actually measure your food? Again, what your saying defies the laws of thermodynamics. So unless you are a mutant, you cannot stay the same weight while varying your caloric intake. You need to realize that you are just not accurately measuring your intake. It's important that you come to this realization.

I wouldn't bother. If you are losing weight without it...stick to what you are doing. That's just my take on things.

It depends on who you ask. Some people will tell you to eat your exercise calories back...some will say you don't need to. You need to pay attention to your body. If you eat 1200 and burn 200 without eating those calories back, pay attention to how you feel. If you feel like crap...you are probably going to need more…

His BMR is around 1800-1900 calories. He is fine. Plus he is probably eating more than 1200 per day since he doesn't measure anything. If he feels fine and isn't hungry, he is probably going to survive.
-
MFP creates a caloric deficit for you. When you set up your account it asked you how many pounds per week you wanted to lose. If MFP tells you to eat 1200 calories, and you burn 200 through exercise, you can now eat 1400 calories and still lose 2lbs per week.
-
How much of a calorie deficit did you maintain on your diet? How many pounds per week were you losing?
-
He pretty much eats under 1200 calories. How do you know his calorie intake? Does he measure his food? Do you measure his food? Where are you getting the 1200 number from?
-
You don't do any exercise. You assume no matter what you eat, your weight will stay the same. These are two things you need to stop doing. You need to exercise. You also need to learn how your body works. You simply cannot eat whatever you want and stay the same. That is unless you are eating at maintenance every day. If…

I simply cannot eat fast food. I drive by a Burger King and the smell makes me sick to my stomach. I crave veggies and egg beaters. You never "have to" eat fast food. You aren't going to starve on the way home. Then again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with grabbing a burger every once in a while. I just cannot eat it…

Wanted to emphasize...start lifting now. Weight training is the best way to boost fat loss. Cardio is great...cardio and weight training is better.
-
You should focus on weight lifting now. However, since you need to maintain a caloric deficit, muscle building is not your goal. You are trying to maintain your muscle mass and lose fat. Don't listen to jar heads at the gym unless they are certified trainers or nutritionists. Lots of stupid information circulates at these…

What changes did you make to your diet? There are far too many factors that could be contributing to your headaches. Anything anybody gives you as far as advice will be purely speculation. Ultimately, if you have prolonged periods of headaches I would consult your doctor. I can tell you, with some certainty, that if your…

I went from garbage food to 100% clean food. I have a cheat day once in a while, but for the most part I eat clean. You can't really make blanket statements about what works. Everybody is different. Some people would benefit from setting short-term goals. This whole, "I eat everything I love" garbage may work for you. If…

Stop reading articles. Red wine is actually healthy in moderation. Just work it into your plan. I wouldn't recommend slugging back a bottle per night....but that's pretty much common sense.

dianne, Not everybody is a genius like yourself. It's ok for people to ask questions. If you don't want to answer them....kick rocks.

I have been going with Cellucor. Although I don't use protein powder every day. I get most of my protein from chicken breast. I would try Cellucor's stuff though. I love the flavors.

When you workout you use glucose. Hunger can be triggered by low glucose levels in the blood. Therefore, the next day, after your body has begun repairing, it responds to a lowered level of glucose in the body. Many believe the hormone ghrelin is responsible for this obsessive eating problem. It's important to keep…

Try different recipes that include healthy foods. I found that I now actually crave my diet food. I LOVE my tomato sandwich on toasted slices of wheat bread with mustard. I LOVE the lean ground turkey mixed with brown rice, and I LOVE my chicken wraps with the 80 calorie wraps I get. I just don't want anything else. You…

I'm assuming you aren't going to get smashed, and since you don't drink anymore your tolerance probably isn't going to be very high. So I really wouldn't worry about it. There are certain drinks that have lower calories. Certain beers are better than others. I would drink what you want...just don't overdo it and compensate…

As a couple people have posted already, you really need to get rid of the idea that time is holding you back. You can always make time for exercise. You really need to make it a priority. Jumping rope is probably one of the best cardiovascular exercises you can do. However, remember that cardiovascular exercise is merely a…

If you aren't losing weight you are either not at a deficit or you have a medical condition. I am assuming you are probably eating more than you think. Weight training is not going to make you bulky. Weight training is necessary to tone your body. You aren't going to be very lean if you don't include some sort of weight…
-
It could be a long list of factors. What did you eat for breakfast and lunch?
-
You are going to achieve a lower weight by maintaining that deficit. As far as exercise and feeling bad, there are many factors that can play a role in that. Are you getting enough water? Are you consuming enough calories? What does your exercise plan look like?

Again, you aren't going to get an accurate estimate form a HRM or TDEE. Either method may require adjustments. I would also assume a HRM would give you more accurate results than body weight in pounds * 1.5. Not sure where you are getting this from. The increase in heart rate during cardio has a direct connection to energy…
