Hi All! I'm new to the group, in for 50 miles in January :)
-
I loved Ripped in 30 as well so if I was starting now I might start there so you can see how you like Jillian! I'm thinking of going onto T25 next as these shorter workouts are so much more doable on my schedule than longer ones like Insanity. What do you think of it?

Thank you for the advice! Did my Week 5 day 2 today which was two 8 minute jogs with a 5 minute walk in between. My next one is the 20 minute one and I'm terrified  Hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow, I'm going to post on here to keep me honest about it!
-
A group sounds great! I'm just finished week 2, loving it so far!
-
Week 4 day 3 done (last night...) Aiming to do today and tomorrow and then start Body Revolution on Monday, can't wait! Also @MicheleStitches can't believe that we did 30DS last month to completion and now nearly to the same point for RI30! Proud of us! I've never had the motivation to keep going through the whole program…

Oops, forgot to post last night! Week 4 day 2 done! I'm loving this level! Going to start Jillian's Body Revolution next Monday. I'm having my 'Christmas' this weekend with whole family so actual Christmas day will be more laidback just with my parents so I figured I could make a start that week anyway :)

Update - I don't hurt today, yay! I can feel in my butt that I've been working out but I'm not sore which is nice
-
Week 4 day 1 done for me too! Ooooooh, loved, loved, loved it!! After the nightmare that was Week 3 (I'm just not strong enough for some of those moves) Week 4 was awesome. So hard, I know I'm going to hurt tomorrow but so happy that it's a routine that I can really work the whole way through with no modifiers …

I have been so crazy busy the last few days so haven't been logging my workouts! I got behind so am just giong to start week 4 today. I didn't like week 3 so much because I just couldn't do all the strength circuits. The one with the duck walks and the endless shoulders one! My butt and thighs have been so sore though so…
-
Morning all! I ended up skipping yesterday (2 rest days in a row!!!) because i had an unplanned job interview to prepare for... I feel horrible today for not getting my workout in so it will be the first thing I do when I get home today and might even double up if my thighs can take it! @meesh109 it will DEFinitely be…
-
@DianaGabriela to be honest I didn't even look at her meal plan! I'm eating my regular diet through RI30 and I generally don't eat much bread or pasta but if I want it or it's convenient (as it has been the past few days) I will absolutely go ahead and eat it. I have never noticed any difference in my weight loss depending…
-
week 3 day 3 done.... ouch. I'm loving the muscle burn, feel like I'm getting in a much better workout than weeks 1 and 2 but oowwww  rest day tomorrow - this level demands it!!
-
Umm, yeah, day two was no easier  This is a real tough week and it feels like the challenge just got serious!! Really enjoying it though and it absolutely flies by, even quicker than week 2 did. Hope everyone is still staying strong, would be good to see how anyone else is finding it!
-
Oh wow. I was a day behind schedule so I did level 2 and then level 3 one after the other. Circuit 1 with the duck walks?? OMG!!!! This week is definitely, definitely a step up from week 2. I'm glad about that because I felt I could work harder (other than the cardio planks in week 2) but I'm gonna need another day or two…
-
I missed my workout yesterday because I was being totally lazy so I doubled up today to finish week 2 and start week 3. Glad to see the back of week 2 and that vile cardio plank section on circuit 1!! Hope everyone is still going strong to complete before Christmas :drinker:
-
I forgot to log my workout yesterday as ended up working out quite late but week 2 day 6 done tonight. Looking forward to moving on to week 3, the cardio planks just kill me!! How's everyone doing?
-
Bump to look at later
-
Ah perfect, thanks! This is just what I wanted to hear :drinker: What kind of results did you get from BR?
-
Week 2 day 4 done, still loving it but still rubbish at the cardio planks :grumble: Going strong but I did take my week 2 rest day yesterday as wasn't feeling too good so going to power on through to week 3 now!!
-
Ah agreed on yoga meltdown - it's definitely not a beginners' yoga workout!! I'm a big yoga fan but haven't done any for a couple of months so really felt pushed... going to stick with it I think...
-
Week 2 day 2 done - still loving it except for the cardio in circuit 1, boo for all the planks, my arms can't take it!! Followed up with yoga meltdown level 1. Has anyone done this workout? Phew, my shoulders!!
-
Yay week 2 day 1 done! Loved the change from week 1 - and you weren't kidding about the planks! This week seems to be plank central  As with week 1 I think it will take another day before I'm really sure what I'm doing with some of the moves - the only downside I find of the 30 second sets is that some of them I'm…
-
So did my Week 1 Day 7 today and kind of sad it was the last one although it has started to become easier so might be the right time to move on! Nervous/excited about starting Week 2 tomorrow
-
Ah perfect, yoga is my favourite! Obviously I can make the session more or less strenuous but generally I do it for the de-stress so feels like a good rest day activity for me.
-
Hahaha now I'm afraid Jillian's gonna get me!!! Ok, so is a rest day a proper rest day, as in no exercise at all? I could do yoga or something, yes?
-
So week 1 day 5 done today. I'm really loving it, don't want to take a day off! What's the general consensus, it's only a 30 minute workout, do we really need a rest day? What's everyone else doing? Everything felt easier today, went straight from one move to the next - usually I take sips of water to give myself a 5-10…
-
Week 1 day 4 done. Ouch my abs hurt today!! I think (like Leah) I've upped my game each day since day 1 and also am holding my abs tightly throughout and oooh I felt it during that workout. I am loving RI30 so far! Hope the next levels will be as enjoyable (even if they're much harder!!) Awesome to see everyone doing so…
-
@dshalbert: thanks for the tips! I will try these tonight when I work out. So frustrating with the side lunges as I had absolutely no problem during 30DS with the exact same move except for my arms dying which ironically is the part I have no trouble with now  I think I'm over-thinking it because Jillian keeps…
-
Week 1 day 3 done. I'm liking RI30 more and more each day and every day appreciating the 30 second strength intervals as I'm really able to do the full 30 seconds rather than struggling and giving up if they were longer. @dshalbert: That is great motivation to me to keep going with RI30 - not only are you already doing it…
-
@MicheleStitches haha!! Glad to know I'm not the only one! :drinker: I'm thinking of going back to the scissor kick type ones from 30DS, I think Level 3 while I work on my core. Think some pilates is in order here... @DancingMoosie thanks for the advice  @hopperem i'm only on day 3 today so you're only a day or 2…
