My boyfriend and I freakin' love veggies. Can't get enough of them. Pick any (firm) veggie, toss it in oil, salt, pepper, and spices and roast in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. Our favourites are broccoli, cauliflower, beets, sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, onions, peppers.... I could go on forever! We also…

I Fink You Freaky - Die Antwoord 212 - Azaelia Banks Gimme Chocolate! - BABYMETAL No joke, these are my favourite songs to really hit the pavement to HARD. They always pump me up! (I've got a really eclectic taste in music, in case you can't tell. Hahahahaha.)

Sorry, to answer your original question as well... My breakfasts are usually one of the following: 1) 1/2 cup of oats with 2tbsp of natural peanut butter and berries. 2) A breakfast sandwich made of light rye, unsalted butter, 1 egg, spinach, cheddar cheese, onion, and tomato. 3) 2 pieces of light rye toast with either…

I just took a peek at your diary... 3 cups of cereal, and 1 cup of whole milk - that's a pretty hefty bowl of cereal! My suggestion to you would be to focus on portion control, and read the labels BEFORE you eat. This will allow you to choose the appropriate amount of a food for your meal so that the calorie count won't…

Nothing. I applied myself to eating a well-rounded and adventurous diet, focused on moderation and portion control.

Such truth! :drinker:

My boyfriend and I are so in love it's sickening - haha! But we are also very adventurous, and sexually open-minded. We will sometimes invite a third into our bed (someone we know and trust) for a little added fun. All three of us get a lot out of it, and we've done it more than once. As long as we are doing it together,…

So true! I definitely already feel successful without external validation, but it sure was nice to hear it. And thanks, everyone, for all your kind comments!

Congratulations! You look fantastic and seem to have a very healthy attitude. ...Also, you are a great writer! Some success stories can be tedious to read (despite their context and uplifting themes) but not yours! It was entertaining and personal. Thanks for that!

Awwwwwwwesome! I am a runner as well, and I love it! Not just the activity, but all of the extra calories too! :drinker:

Chop them up into little cubes, toss them with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and fresh dill and pan fry until they start to turn crispy. Top with tzatziki and try to only eat one serving.

I love my crock pot! My boyfriend and I don't have any specific recipes we stick to per se, but I find my 'recipe' below is pretty flawless. 1) Add a few cups of chopped vegetables tossed with salt and pepper. (The 'sturdier' the better - I like onions, sweet potatoes, squash, peppers, carrots, beets, etc.) 2) Place a…

Great attitude - best of luck! Add me if you like. =)

That just sounds like calorie reduction, though - right? Like, you could achieve the same end by removing the chicken, or the avocado, etc. etc. It's just simply eating less. No need to demonize or restrict food groups unnecessarily.

Shredded unsweetened coconut and pineapple chunks!

I walk/run to work too, and it can be brutal on hot days! Baby wipes are a great idea, as well as keeping some spare deodorant, perfume, and make up at your work (or in a backpack to bring with you). When I get to work I hit the bathroom immediately to change my clothes and freshen up. It's been working so far!

My boyfriend and I like ours roasted as well - but we add a touch of balsamic vinegar and honey. Mmmmm!

Monday-Friday I walk to work (45mins) and run home (30 mins). On the weekend I do hot yoga. Why? Because one of my favourite feelings ever is coming home from a run or yoga class, dripping in sweat with my muscles twitching, and taking a cold shower. The combination of endorphins, cold water, and the sense of…

My favourite low-cal breakfasts are: 1) A low-cal whole wheat bagel with 2 tbsp of light cream cheese. (about 270 cals) 2) A piece of light rye toast with a pat of butter, tomato slices, and 2 eggs over easy. (about 250 cals) 3) 1/2 a cup of minute oats with 1/2 a scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp of honey and frozen…

I did it! I ran my first 5K in March, and have never been happier. I run 5 times a week now - it makes me feel fit, focused, and alive. I am currently training for a 10k in August, half marathon in October, and *hopefully* a full marathon next summer. C25K made me fall in love with running! (Also, I won my weight in beer…
