Hi! First of all, what is your daily calorie allowance? Can you open your diary to the public so others can get a sense of what you are eating? ETA: typo.
-
Add me if you like! I run 3-4 times a week (+yoga and strength training, when I can fit it in) and eat pretty clean. I'm not obsessive about it though - I like my treats and wine, too! And I'll never say no to the occasional "pizza night". I really love to cook my own meals out of fresh, wholesome food though. My…

When I was thinner before, I was a C-cup. Then I gained weight and became a D-cup. Now I've lost 30 lbs and am lower than my original weight and I am... still a D-cup. They just don't seem to be budging. I feel like they may be a touch saggier but it could be my imagination - my boyfriend says they look exactly the same.…

Truth!

Hey there! I am not cult-y about being a clean eater, but I certainly prefer to cook my own meals and use whole foods about 90% of the time! I still treat myself once in a while, and imbibe in a glass of wine here and there. ;) For the most part though, I love real, fresh food and my diary tends to feature more lists of…

Wash face -> Cute outfit -> wholesome breakfast -> coffee -> cuddle my kitty -> kiss my man -> make my bed -> conquer the day!

I love it with chopped cucumbers, dillweed, basil, and a little garlic salt. Mmmm... Or, with just about any kind of fruit. My favourites are strawberries, pineapple chunks, or peaches!

I totally used to be a "low-carb, no sugar" dieter. I logged my food on fatsecret.com and only paid attention to net carbs and grams of sugar, not calories. I lost about 20 lbs in 2 months but then decided that that lifestyle wasn't sustainable for me (as I fully expect to enjoy pizza, pasta, and treats in moderation for…

Enduring motivation must be seeded in relentless desire for something. What do you really want out of this experience? Always come back to that. Kind of cryptic, I know, but this journey is different for everyone. Your 'want' may be something related to food, fitness, or self-esteem- or some combination of everything!…

I intend to treat anyone, of any size, as a respected equal. I hope that others will do the same for me, at any size. How they regulate their health, fitness, and self-esteem on a personal level is none of my business. Nor mine, theirs.

Dear caller, Spit your food out before dialing. Finish your previous conversation before I pick up. Speak clearly. Know who you are calling. DON'T WASTE MY TIME. Frosty regards, Receptionist

I like eating larger dinners in the evening. Both my boyfriend and I love to cook, so we usually spend a lot of time together preparing our meal and enjoying it together. I tend to eat smaller breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to accommodate this within my daily calories. According to my ticker, it seems to be working!

Hey there! Feel free to check my profile and add me if you like! ^_^ I love running, and have done it for a while for pleasure. I am new to 'training' and running competitively, though. I have a 5K in March, a 10K in June, and a half marathon scheduled for October!

I season my tilapia with garlic salt, black pepper, and dillweed, then press it into whole wheat flour and pan-sear it in coconut oil. Make sure to get the oil nice and hot, and do not turn it too frequently or it will fall apart. You want that nice, brown crust on both sides! I usually serve it with plenty of veggies and…

My boyfriend is a big eater, too! Fortunately, he also loves to help in the kitchen and really enjoys all the vegetables and lean proteins I tend to put in our meals. What I do is make whatever low-cal recipe we've chosen for FOUR PEOPLE. I will eat one serving, and he will usually eat double that, sometimes more! I will…

This! For sure.

Pay attention to your body! When I first started C25K I had terrible knee pain that I (at first, foolishly) tried to run through. It turned out to be an IT band issue, which is super common and easy to work around, but I nearly injured myself trying to 'ignore the pain'. I did some research, learned some stretching and…

You sounds just like me! I the only thing I love more than food, is cooking that food. Haha! My meals tend to read more like ingredient lists and I try to stay away from convenience foods. I just experimenting with flavours and knowing that I created the delicious thing I am devouring. My boyfriend loves to cook also, so…
-
I am doing this also! Increasing just a little bit each week is really helping. Don't go too gung-ho or you'll end up hurting yourself and really regretting it.
-
I had the same issue when I started running! Turned out to be "Runner's Knee", but with the right care I can run pain-free. I googled some stretching methods, learned how to roll out my IT band with a foam roller, and picked up a compression sleeve:…

I've totally lost 30 lbs so far on this exact diet! (With the calories adjusted to my personal TDEE, of course.) Shouldn't I be paying someone for this?
-
My diary is open to friends. =) I love to cook as well, so some of my meals will appear to be more of an ingredient list, or will be a recipe I've entered myself on MFP. Friend me if you like! And if you ever have any questions about what I've made, just ask!
-
2 slices of pizza accounts for half of your calorie allowance for the day? Yikes!! What is your daily calorie goal, if you don't mind me asking?
-
Hey there! I have been on MFP since August and am down roughly 30 lbs. I only have 10 left of my original goal, but I think I might shoot for 10 more after that to really lean out. I started out walking and doing yoga, and am now just finishing week 3 on C25K. I log every day, everything. Shoot me a friend request if you…

Ditto! I log every grape, every slurp of juice, every peanut, etc. etc. Those little "bites" add up quickly and it's easier to log them NOW than worry about why my numbers aren't adding up and why I'm not losing weight LATER. Best of luck!

Every second day, paired with one body group and stretching.

Mmmmm, I love spaghetti squash! I don't necessarily feel the need to hide it or use it as a substitute though... When I want real pasta I'll just have real pasta, lol. That being said, one of my favourite ways to eat it is with a little butter, garlic salt, smoked paprika, and smoked gouda stirred into it. Sooooo gooey and…

Yes! I am so glad you are listening to expert advice AND your body! You rock so hard.
-
This! I like to chop up half of a banana in mine also.

This is exactly what I needed to read right now! I've lost almost 30 lbs since joining MFP and have been running kind of casually for a while. I am now on Week 3 of C25K, and have 5K, 10K, and half-marathon races scheduled for March, June, and October (respectively). I love running! Love love love it. And to hear the…
