When I first joined MFP in 2011 running proved to be the best at leaning me out. For me I think it was because of the amount of time my heart rate was at a consistent high rate. 160-170. I would run 3 miles 2-3 times a week. I fell off the wagon hard last year due to a sciatic nerve issue and now I feel so outta shape when…

I have the app downloaded just have yet to try it. Does it track your distance as well? I want to try it. Thinking of doing so tonight. Just wondered if I needed to run my RunKeeper app at the same time so I get my distance?

Blue Moon with Shock Top running a close 2nd. I also loveee Mexican beers and Micheladas. Dos Equis & Tecate. But I will take down a few Coors Lights too. I'm just a girl who loves beer. lol! Haven't had one in almost a month. My bf has banned me from drinking them lol! Trying to stay on track now that I'm 24 days in on…

Awesome transformation so far. Congrats!! Very inspiring!!

I can buy a bag of boneless skinless chicken breast from $6-7, a whole chicken for around $5-6 and veggies are really inexpensive. Try the farmers market if that is something you have in your area. I've gotten lucky. We have a .99 cent store here in CA that sells fresh fruits and veggies. I make at least a couple trips…

I'm in the same situation myself. Feel free to add me as well!! :drinker:

I started slow carb today. Really excited to get going and see some results. I did it 3 yrs ago when I first joined MFP and had awesome success with it. I really like this plan.

Feel free to add me. I'm back as well going for round 2.

If you are " tired of always being the fat girl who never gets any attention" then use that as your motivation. That's what brought me to MFP in 2011 when I first joined. I hated the way I looked and felt and finally decided to buckle down and do something about it. I'm back for round two because after an injury last year…

YEP hahaa

I visit my local .99 cent store weekly for all my fresh fruits and veggies. If you have a similar market I would suggest that or even the farmers market for those items. Cook in the crockpot. I throw a whole chicken in mine. You get a juicy tender chicken that's better than a rotissere and you can eat several meals off of…

I'm low carbing as well. I get my carbs from fruits & veggies. I try to eat a serving of almonds or peanuts during the day and that helps get the calories up. Cheese is another way. You could also use salad dressing or mix up some balsamic w/EVOO too.

You know you've just helped me put together why I've gained 15-20 lbs since June. That's when I started on the pill again. Grrr!!

A nod. A smile. A friendly acknowledgement.

I'm 5'9" as well. When I first joined MFP I got down from 202 to 153. I worked out like a beast and ran 3 miles 2xs a week. I looked very thin and lean. You could see my collar bone lol. So the goal since my injury last year forced me to stop working out for awhile and I've since gained more than half the weight lost back…

Yes lol! I learned early on just to enter them under my cardio. Especially since I was using an HRM and accurately tracking my cals burned.

Stock up on fruits! See if that helps with your sugar craving. At least that will be from a natural nutrious source.

Hello. I'm back again myself. Sciatic nerve issue last year forced me to stop working out for close to 8 weeks. From there I lost motivation to workout and definitely stopped logging. All negaitves. I since have gained more than half of the 50 lbs I lost 3 yrs ago back. So here I am. I realize now I need MFP, consistent…

Hello. I'm back after a sciatic nerve issue last year forced me to stop working out for close to 8 weeks. Once I could begin working out again I would still experience pain and got discouraged. Summer showed up along with beer, BBQ's and weekends out on the river and I've put on half of the 50 lbs I worked so hard to lose…

Sugar Free Gummy Bears from CVS. CVS store brand. O carbs, O fat and 210 cals in the whole bag. (Not the Haribu ones. I've horrid things about those).

Once a week. First thing in the morning before I eat.

I'm in the super hot central valley. Thank God for the Dirty D (Delta) and friends with nice boats lol! :drinker:

3 yrs ago I started using MFP along with joining the gym and completely changing my eating habits. I made the gym priority and managed to lose 50 lbs. Last year around Oct I had an issue with my sciatic nerve and I was forced to stop working out for close to 8 weeks. Once I was able to workout again I would still get pain…
