So over a 12 month period, you are saying a total of 4.4 lbs of muscle??? That's it?
-
2 - 2.5 lbs of muscle only on the most precise and optimal diets and all other factors being on point.....as well as being genetically blessed and new to lifting. For someone who has lifted a while, for a guy you are looking at more like 1 - 1.5 lbs per month. For me personally, I do about 1.2gr of protein / pound (at…

I eat whatever I want, at the calories I need and don't go over.

You need salt in your body. If you take in sodium, just drink more water. Also be aware that changes in your sodium intake will result in water retention till your body evens itself out again.
-
I don't recall it being more TUT Just I didn't take into account other distractions in the gym.....
-
Fun times LOL
-
If I can recall, cause it has been a while.... I think I had a little bit more focus I was a bit more anxious...I guess is how you could describe it.... But it wasn't enough to keep me wanting to continue to the buy the product...... Because over time, your body will get used to it....so you do need to take a break from…

LOL I remember the first time I did that w/ a pre-workout or used Cellucor SuperHD Felt the same way....thought my heart was gonna explode out of my chest.
-
I do fasted. Yes I don't do a pre-workout other than Xtend BCAA's I have done Psycho pre-workout by scivation....and performance was about the same.....but there was a difference.....slight difference. But still workout was on par w/ others that were not with a pre-workout.
-
He did answer your question. A person's performance in the gym will be determined by that person and how he feels. If I felt I wasn't able to go 100% in the fasted state, then I wouldn't. But my lifts have been great for 2 years now....
-
+1 Since I have been training fasted I feel I have a lot more energy and focus than I ever did when I was in a fed state. And once I get going....I don't even feel hungry. There have been times post workout I have had to force myself to eat, because I just didn't feel like it. But it is all personal preference.
-
Agreed. Post weight lifting workout, and it being intense. You get the most benefit from a high carb, protein meal within 2 hours..... Your body is more responsive to the insulin spike.
-
My view and how I feel. Exactly.
-
Most studies say that around 0.8 gr / pound of body weight for protein. I personally do 1.0+ gr for protein. Fat you can do at 0.40 gr / pound of body fat minimum. Carbs can make up the remainder of your needed calories.
-
I lift in fasted state. Post workout meal is big. usually 1000 - 1500 calories.
-
All about your calorie intake. Eat less.

I added my own entry for my race, based on cooked info. Not raw.

Not necessary..... I don't eat breakfast, been skipping for almost 2 yrs now.

Mmmmmm.....anabolic dreams. Like wet dreams, only better. You get GAINZZZZ!!!!!!

I know a few of them at my gym. Basically 16 weeks out they start their cut. So they start getting extremely strict w/ their food....and then over the course of the 16 weeks, they lower it. They start upping cardio They start upping their weight lifting sessions.....

Oh and you can also tell him/her to google "The Twinkie Diet"

Ah...those measurements are not the most accurate....
-
I would be hesitant to do that (unless I read the graph wrong). Look at the most recent 4 days. Went from 84.8 -> 87.2 in 4 days. 2.4 lbs??? Would need to know how measurements are being done.
-
Thank you sweets. :kissing_heart: Wish I had his shoulders. though
-
Holy crap dude....You would have to be on some gear to get results like what you are saying....and even then your friend getting 28lbs??? in 2 months??????
-
MrM gave the best answer. When I started upping my calories, I would do it by 200 at a time...and would go with that for about 2 weeks. To see how my body responded..... If I wasn't gaining like I wanted, then I would up by 200 again, and track for 2 weeks.... So it allows for better control and knowledge about how your…
