That's one way.

Wear nothing. Trust me, everyone will notice you.

Wait... are you complaining about complaining?

I bought my first pair of jeans since losing 30 lb. I wore 38" wast and they were tight in August. I bought 36" waist this time. I tried on 34s and got into them but they felt a little snug. In retrospect I think I should have gone with the 34s; the 36s feel almost as loose as the 38s did, to be honest. I've lost a little…

It's an ongoing process, and people who "backslide" probably need the support more than those who just lose continuously. I think some level of yo-yoing is not uncommon. In the past there were periods of feast and famine and the folks who could pack on the pounds were the ones who made it through the sparse times. So it's…

12/1 - 27* Total: 27 miles * fixed gear rides On our Sunday night pub crawl rides, sometimes instead of stopping at a pub we go to a store instead to get some beer, then do a "hobo stop" and drink our beer in a park. Often the reason we go to a store is because we're also asking people to buy food to donate to the food…

You look good at 133, but at 116... yowza!

Oh... mine wasn't good enough, huh?

I regularly see a 10 mile swath of "my" neighborhood between my house and downtown. About half of it goes through what I used to think of as a "bad area" but I've come to see as simply modest housing.

I've tried various apps and I'm currently using runtastic, too. I like it because it automatically reports to MyFitnessPal and Facebook, plus it gets the elevation right. I was using Sports Tracker and Endomondo and both of those apps have large elevation errors (I would take the dog on a 2 mile walk and "climb" 20,000…

We do this every month. So when you're ready to ride, look for us.

I didn't quite make 300 miles in November, but I'll try to make that my goal for December. It will very much depend on the weather, but I should have a bunch of extra potential riding days at the end of the month.

Me too. Getting ready to go out again today, shooting for about 15-20 miles. Not much for me, but quite a bit for her.

2,418 eaten today. With exercise I've done, I'm 23 calories over. I'll probably take the dog for a walk and put me back in the green for the day.

Has a pet cockroach. Actually, a lot of them. To be honest, she really just needs to clean her house. But she insists the cockroaches are all pets. And she wants to keep them.

This go-around, my "moment" was when I finally got the MFP app to work on my phone. I kept dismissing it because it wouldn't let me change my weight and gender and stuff. I finally signed up for an account here and the online version finally showed the right profile characteristics, and I could see that everything synched.…

It depends. Early in the season, it's easier to decide 40*F is too cold because you haven't gotten used to it yet. Later in the year, 20*F will feel downright balmy.
