  • I walked 3 mi today Total to date: 5 mi Goal: 30 mi in Nov.
  • I couldn't figure out how to do the ticker. I've been sick this past week (still getting over it) so I'm behind schedule but plan to make up for lost time real soon. Goal: 30 mi in 30 days Total to date: 2 miles 28 mi. to go.
  • My goal will be a conservative 30 miles in 30 days.
  • I am in the southern part of the great state of NH. I can be in VT, ME or MA within an hour or less.
  • Keep at it missbutton82 and everyone else. Suddenly the scale will move... downward! Persistence pays off.
  • A loss of .9 this week and I'm happy after almost a week of being "flat lined" on the scale. Started at 180 and as of today I'm at 174.4. Slow but it's progress. Total weight loss: 5.6 lbs.
  • For my daily recommended values, I am usually UNDER for carbs and OVER for sugar. I don't understand this at all. I always thought carbs converted to sugar so why two categories - carbs & sugar. How can one be under and one over?

  • I am a tad late with the weekly weigh-in because I went away for the holiday week-end. I was so worried about gaining with all the eating out, no scale to weigh food, etc. I am so happy to say that I lost weight and am down a total of 3.9 lbs so far! I'm definitely planning on meeting that 20 lb loss by Nov. 1. Good luck…

  • Yes! I find that using 1-1/2 tsp. of light cream in my coffee is better than using a larger quantity of 2% milk. I've already used my sugar for the day. :( Can't figure out what to eat for dinner that has NO sugar! Even my veggies seem to have sugar in them.
