My mother got the "slim band" surgery two years ago, she was 200 pounds at 5' 5'' and managed to lose 70 pounds in one year, also always struggled with fad diets. Thanks everyone for the feedback, I know I can do this! I just get upset when I work really hard and the scale moves the other way. I know I have been eating mindlessly and out of boredom and trying to fill the void but everyone is all saying the same thing don't give up and it sounds like some of you had the same issue…

I have been over indulging in high carb food, breads and sweets are really difficult to stay away from for me. Breads and cookies and things like that. I have most definitely been eating a lot more of those foods to fill that void of not smoking. I have also been working over a lot more thinking some how I will counteract…

Doing Lower body strength training for 20 minutes and then 40-45 minutes cardio (Mondays+Thursdays) Upper Body strength training for 20 and then 40-45 cardio (Tuesday+Friday) Rest days are Wednesdays (I work and have night school anyways) And if i'm up for I try to go either a Saturday or Sunday and just do some Cardio!

I totally meant three months***! my bad! i'm 5'8", I have been eating 1500 calories a day and going to the gym 4-5 times a week with weight training and cardio. Eating healtier TONS of fruit and vegetables I don't eat meat but I do eat a lot of protein and use a whey isolate for my post work out!
