Right there with you! 109-115 lbs to lose and I am 49. Doing mostly paleo with occasional carbs. Trying to start jogging again, went for 3 slow jogs so far and it was brutual. Just going to have to gut it out I guess. Best of luck!

My suggestion: 1. Take to your doctor first. 2. Get fitted for new running shoes at a running store (not footlocker) that can evaluate you. Buy there or online. 3. Listen to your body. My personal thought (take it with a grain of salt), is that programs like Atkins, Jenny Craig, Isagenix, etc. don't really change behaviors. I know a lot of people lose weight on them, but I don't think many really learn how to eat healthy and to be aware of what real food costs from a calorie perspective. In my opinion…

You can find some low calorie toasted oats cereal that is only like 110 calorios for a cup. Sometimes I have two cups and some unsweetened almond milk.

A friend on here gave me some good advice the other day when I was discounting my weight loss compared to my goal. He said -- Focus on getting to small goals along the way. Makes sense really, after all, how did the mouse eat the elephant? One bite at a time! Wishing you the best of luck!
