The kind of eating you're doing is really much healthier than the way most of us eat. It keeps your blood sugar levels on an even keel and keeps you from feeling hungry enough to overindulge. Good for you!

We tend to go from one extreme (unhealthy calories) to another (only eating fruits, veggies, etc). You're going to have to balance this out. 600 calories a day is not something you can maintain for life so you need to be careful not to let your body get used to that small amount. It'll only cause you problems later.

Great value (walmart brand) Light Italian is only 15 cals per serving.

You just keep going hun. I know people look at my food and wonder how I lose while eating so much. We know the trick my friend! :)

Do you spread your calories out and eat every 2-3 hours? I have a snack of apple slices about an hour and a half before lunch and I have some carrot sticks and celery a couple of hours before dinner. I eat eggs or peanut butter in the morning, a small salad with lunch, and beans with meat for dinner. It seems to really…

Try not to get too angry at them. They are probably just saying what they would've done if they had it all to do over again. I'm 44 and I got married at 19. I had my first child at 21. Sometimes I think I would've preferred to do the travelling and such because it's harder to do with a family, but I love my kids. I'm proud…

Just stretch today and take some pain reliever. I hope you haven't injured yourself. If your pain is bad, you should probably see your doc to make sure you haven't injured yourself. My knees get achey when I run on my sidewalks around my house. I just don't think it's the best surface to run on.

I use that tea a few times a week. It helps flush out sodium too when I add a little lemon to it.

Lots and lots of water. I also use stool softeners, magnesium supplements, and glycerine suppositories when needed. I'm having this problem really terribly right now because I quit smoking. I don't know why that affects things so much. I think any change causes this problem and it just takes time and patience to correct…

You look great!

Keep exercising and eating healthy. Just change your goal from lose to maintain. Congrats!

Hubby can't pass me without touching my butt or making some approving sound. :)

Don't exercise today and drink water with lemon in it. There's no logical way to lose 2 pounds in 24 hours but if you're retaining water, these steps can help get rid of it.
-
No honey you haven't gained it back unless you ate an extra 3500 cals for every pound gained. It's most likely just sodium. Drink lots of water and eat right. I bet it's gone in a couple of days.

So many diets are a scam these days. All you really have to do is decrease your calories and increase your exercise. It's the easiest, healthiest, and best way to maintain your weight loss.

I just used the general aerobics one. It's a little lower than what Zumba actually burns but it's close enough.

Are you working in 3-5 fruits and veggies into your diet every day? Do you have 2 servings of dairy as well? Are you watching your sodium and drinking all of your water? Sweetie, don't give up. It will take some time for you to figure out your body and what you need to do to lose weight. Just don't think you have to starve…

Mexican food and a Marguarita. :)

Ok, now you've admitted it to yourself. You can do something about it. :)

Hm, I thought it didn't count the activities until you actually entered them in the databank. Maybe try going through and setting it to lose 2 pounds per week and a sedentary lifestyle. Go by that number unless you exercise that day. When you enter your exercise calories, it will give you more for your daily goal.
-
I always look at it more as slowing down my metabolism. That's what it does if I don't eat enough. Yeah, I really don't think any of us are in danger of starving to death. :)
-
When you enter exercise, it adds them to your daily allowance for the day. At the beginning, I ate to within 50 calories of what the system told me to eat. I lost at a rate of about 2 pounds a week even though I only set my goals to lose 1 pound a week. Try eating the calories it tells you to for a week and see if you lose…

You could always eat the banana before the gym and the porridge after? I usually exercise on an empty stomach or have a piece of fruit. A heavy meal before running would lead to a poor workout for me.
-
Your eating looks pretty inconsistent. You might try eating at least 1500 calories a day since you work out so much. The thing that glares at me is the Red Bull every day. Maybe you're not hungry because of that. Have you tried going without it? Do you drink your 8 glasses of water every day? You say you're not losing and…

I'm a white, 40- something mommy and this move was hard for me too. I don't know that I have it down pat yet but I've been doing Zumba for about 6 months now and I think I'm getting better. It is all about the legs and the core for me. The stronger those get, the easier the moves are to do. Zumba is just very fast paced…

The best part about the quit is that I can exercise harder and longer than I could when I was still smoking. I took a run the other day and was able to go 20 minutes and run uphill for about 1/3 of the way. As a smoker, I couldn't run uphill at all. This was a great feeling.

Couch to 5 K is an excellent program for building endurance. I did it last year to prepare for a 5 K in May. I can still run for about half an hour. That may not seem like much to some people but it's supergood for me. I couldn't run for 30 minutes when I was a teenager.

I have the same problem. I am small from about mid-thigh down and from my waist up but I have a thickness in my thighs and middle i'm not pleased with. Strength training is helping though. I still need to lose a little fat in my upper thighs but they're definitely getting firmer with my bootcamp and power pump work outs.

I get what you're saying. I still love my diet sodas (but I've cut back). I'm bad about eating the frozen "healthy" entrees for lunch. They're yummy and easy to just grab for work. I do have my little "diet" treat at night. I am good about taking in fresh milk, eggs, veggies, and fruits though. I'd say I balance the "junk"…

It takes some time to gain the weight and it takes some time to lose it. Diets that cause you to lose more than 2 pounds a week are hard to maintain over a long period of time. MFP is easy. I love the large data base that makes logging so easy to do. It holds me accountible to exercise and stay at my calorie limit. The…
