I do weigh daily but I also know my body better now. I know when I had a lot of sodium or didn't drink as much water or if I did a particularly hard workout that the numbers will be up a little. I don't freak if the scale shows I'm up 2 pounds because there's always a reason for it. I know it's not permanent unless I way…

I weigh daily but I'm weird like that. I usually only enter my loss when I lost a whole pound.

Nobody can see your food journal unless you set it to public. When I set up my ticker, I set it up to show pounds lost not how much I weigh. I'm with you, I like my privacy. :)

I had the same problem after my hysterectomy. I had 6 weeks without exercise and would get extremely fatigued after small chores. I just walked at first. My first walks were pretty short but I built it up a little at a time. Before long, I was able to do water aerobics a couple of times a week. After about 9-10 weeks, I…

When I find myself reaching for something to eat. I ask "Am I hungry?" If you're hungry, eat. If you're just bored, do something else. I find that drinking alot of fluids during the day make me not as hungry. I like diet soda (I know it's bad but it keeps me from eating) and coffee and water.

I think they get disheartened that the weight doesn't just fly off. Most people don't have the motivation to do what needs to be done to meet their goals. In my opinion, this makes them targets for all of the strange diets and supplements people sell. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in.…

I'm a planner and MFP makes it so easy to plan everything beforehand. Seeing the changes in my body is keeping me motivated. It's also always in the back of my mind that my my father was diagnosed with diabetes when he was only a little older than I am now.

I know I should but I can't give it up. Something about the sweetness and the bubbles are soothing to my jangled nerves. I did go down to 1-2 a day when I used to drink much more. I still lost even with doing that.

It burns a lot of calories. I did it for awhile. I've stopped now though because I was having knee and ankle pain. The low impact exercises I do now are just as effective and my joints don't hurt.

The calorie counts they give you may or may not work for you. You need to keep track of your weight and make adjustments according to your needs.

Great attitude!

I do feel strong and my body is much smaller and tighter than it's been since I was a teenager (I was a soccer player). This is the first time I've actually incorporated fitness into my weight loss. I was little in my twenties but I was not fit or strong.

It is really hard. My original goal was a size 8. I'm now a size 6 and I still don't like my body. I see the cellulite on my thighs and the little bit of extra skin from having my babies. I go to fitness classes and see these teeny tiny little teenagers and think my goals aren't set low enough. I'm struggling even though I…

I don't sabatoge myself on purpose but I've noticed that when what scale really starts to move, suddenly I'm more hungry. Maybe it's our body's way of trying to hold on to that padding. If you mess up, just make a decision and get right back with it. I've always struggled with each 10 mark. It seems like I take forever to…

I don't think it really works as a weight loss supplement but a deficiency can cause weight to be harder to lose. I was struggling before the deficiency was diagnosed.

I take Vitamin D because I was diagnosed with a deficiency. Deficiency can lead to depression, exhaustion, and weight gain. My doc put me on high powered supplements because my level was half of the lowest level of normal when she did the blood test. I lost 11 pounds really fast on the high powered supplements. I was also…

You need to ask your doctor. Not every exercise program is right for every person. You shouldn't do any exercise that's not cleared through your doc.

My friend swears by it. She used it after the birth of her twins and she was in great shape fast. The problem is you have to do it 6 days a week and you're going to be mighty sore at first. Your results will depend on your committment.

Great work! You look beautiful.

Log your food and exercise for the day in the morning. That way you can balance out your calories and you feel compelled to do the exercise you said you'd do.
-
Nah I just use MFP. I still do a cheat meal once a week and I still lost. I think it revs up my metabolism to go over on my calories every once in a while.
-
It took me about a month to start losing. The exercise was causing me to hold water in my muscles. Once my body got used to it, the weight was coming off. You should also try eating your exercise calories. That was the trick for me.

The firm bootcamp is a great workout. It burns about 400 calories and works on toning the whole body. You could purchase the dvd for less than one personal training session. I like it because it incorporates weights and cardo together. I feel like I'm getting a complete workout in 50 minutes.
-
Don't try to lose faster than 2 pounds a week. I think at that rate you could lose most of it. Concentrate on toning though. You need cardio and strength training along with a healthy diet. A toned body can make you look small and tight even if the scale isn't where you want it to be.

Watch your sodium, drink your water, and try eating some of your exercise calories. Also know that weight loss isn't consistent. I went 3 weeks without losing and then lost 4 pounds in a week. It's hard to explain why we lose some weeks and don't lose other weeks. Getting proper sleep and drinking lots of water helps.…

I'd like to know if people actually maintain their astounding weight loss. I don't actually think it's the HCG that causes it. These people are eating 500 calories a day while doing the injections. It would be good to hear from those about it a year after they lost all that weight. I really don't think I could do the 500…

You are beautiful!

Water aerobics is great! I did this 6 weeks after my hysterectomy and it really helped build up my stamina. It's also very gentle on the joints.

Zumba is fun but really hard to do at first. Just get a couple of beginning dance videos (I used Richard Simmons to start) or use fast past walking until you build up your stamina a little bit. Once you get to where you can exercise 30-45 minutes without losing your breath, Zumba is great!

The first advice I have for you is try to give up restaurant food for about 3 weeks. Even healthy choices at a restaurant have way too much sodium in them. After that, have one cheat meal per week. It's what you do most of the time that counts. Try to balance your meals with two carbs, one protein, one dairy, and one fruit…
