I know you weren't asking but I've tried Jessica Smith and Leslie Sansone videos. They're both excellent for in home walking.

Edamame, cottage cheese with fruit, roasted chickpeas, unsalted nuts, hard boiled eggs, apple with peanut butter

I don't do cheat days. I do cheat meals where calories don't count. This helps me stay sane. One whole day of uncontrolled eating can derail an entire week's progress for me.

Those cases are different. There are others who're trying but clearly know no better. Someone I know genuinely did not know how to work this site. So she was logging her calories incorrectly and was not seeing a loss although she was working hard at it.

It's almost like we all forget how it is to be horribly stuck and literally not seeing a way out. Sometimes it takes an outsider's perspective to see what we can do better. Most people asking for help are asking for this perspective. So yes, just telling them that they're lazy is woefully insufficient.

It is possible. But considering you're already at a pretty healthy weight for your height, you'll find that losing will be hard unless your logging is super accurate and consistent.

You look fantastic. Nicely done!

Sorry to say, I did not lose weight while bfing. I just eventually accepted the fact that my body won't lose weight while nursing. I was constantly hungry and cutting any calories led to an immediate dip in supply. Nursing upto at least a year was more important to me at the time. Once I did wean, I was able to control my…

I've been vegetarian since birth. It's so easy to eat carbs and a lot of it as a vegetarian cuz you don't have much protein to fill you up. I've had weight problems since I was a child.

What is your starting weight? Unless your weight is somehow detrimental to your pregnancy, do not try and lose weight. For the first 4 months or so, just eat your regular intake. Further along, add 300 calories or so. You do need to listen to your body, so if you're hungry, find something healthy to eat.

I recently started this and boy is it bang for the buck! My hubs is upset though - he has to now share his $100 a bottle scotch with me

Happens to me too. Weird, eh?

Love the baby potatoes ideas. Totally trying that!

It's not important for weight loss as much as it is for general health. Water keeps me regular. It keeps my skin nice and supple.

Agreed. Or add 2 more egg whites. It's less than 50 calories for more food.

You win!

Also, 160 lbs at 5'9" is already in the normal BMI range. So you don't have much weight to lose. If you want to lose going forward, you need to be super accurate with your logging.

1 roti may or may not be just 60 calories. I measured my ingredients and created my own roti recipe. I make it with no oil except for what goes into making the dough and that comes out to 70 calories. And my rotis are fairly small. Similarly, Did you measure this and then make your own recipe? "Generic - Indian Arhar Daal…

Agreed. Definitely get your blood work done.

I would totally live on coffee if I could. But that's cuz I love coffee more than I love food. I would die of stomach ulcers though.

Quest bars are GROSS. Just cannot do it without having to rinse my mouth out 8735345 times immediately after.

You're already at a healthy weight so losing from here is going to involve being MUCH stricter. Everytime I restart working out, I end up eating more than I need because I feel like I've earned it. Also, a new exercise program can cause some water retention. So watch your sodium like a hawk and drink tons of water. Side…

I can't read anything you post. My eyes gravitate towards the picture and just stay there!

What's your height and weight?
-
I'm 18 months pp and am 5 lbs from my pre preg weight. I do have bit of a belly but it is going away slowly with a clean diet and exercise.

Ask those people to show you their abs. That should shut them up.

Right?

This is actually a solid plan. I read somewhere about someone who leaves her purse in her car trunk to avoid drive thrus. Hey, if it works!
