That I can eat well and keep losing weight. That I can make healthy food super delicious if I put my mind to it - I always knew this but I was shocked at how much better I could do by thinking about my meals and planning them properly.

Yes, yes, yes. You had to have exercised a lot of self control to lose close to 40 lbs. So you do have it in you. 1 lb at a time and 1 meal at a time!

One piece of advice : stick to your plan like it's your job. Be super accurate with your logging and the weight will come off. I promise. All the best!

The slight yo-yoing was to be expected. No big deal. Glad to know you have it sorted out now.

We want to see pictures! But you go girl! Nicely done

It's also easier this way, right? I don't need to obsess over every single day as long as I know that I'm on track for the week.
-
No big deal. It won't hurt in the long run. I do "save up" calories leading up to my weigh-in day and eat slightly over my allowance the day after. It's worked so far.

Listen to this guy.

I do have that problem. I just use a tall tumbler instead to measure. It's awkward, but works.

I've had this one for 2 years. Work beautifully. I haven't had to replace batteries even though I use it every single day.

Just eat some carbs. Eat some bread, rice, potatoes or whatever it is that rocks your world. Life is too short to feel badly about eating some good quality bread. Just be sure to log it and make it fit within your goals.

You're a baker? I love you. I love all bakers. You guys have the hands of god.

How much are you drinking? If it has no sugar or other additives, you're okay. However, if you're like me and have a sensitive stomach(IBS), all that carbonation can cause severe bloating and upset your stomach.

Get to 143 and see how you feel.

I don't do cheat days. I do cheat meals occasionally when I just need to eat a favorite that I simply can't fit into my regular caloric goals. I do try and save some calories for it through the week.

Chickpea and spinach stew, rice and lentils with vegetables, whole grain pasta with vegetables and homemade sauce, hard boiled eggs, steamed edamame and vegetables, tofu scramble with veggies and kale, black bean and vegetable burrito with salsa and avocado, quinoa pancakes are some of my lunches. I'm a vegetarian, btw.

Buy all the frozen and canned vegetables you find on sale - they're nutritious and stay good for a long time. Stock up on onions, potatoes, garlic etc. Also buy broth, rice, lentils, beans, pastas, oatmeal, sugar free cereal etc when you find them on sale. If and when you find some time, buy fresh veggies, chop, bag and…

How about steeping your water with a lot of fruit? You get flavor with none of the calories.

For the pain, take a pain killer(Midol is the work of god!) the moment you feel cramps coming on. This helps way more than waiting for full fledged cramps to take me down. If it's so unbearable that you can't go about your day to day life, definitely speak to your obgyn. There's no need to bear that kind of pain. My friend…

Rest up then. There's no medal for being all macho about it  I feel like a champ on day 1 and by day 2, I feel like I'm going to bleed to death. One day at a time is what it's all about!

Set small goals. I have lost 20 lbs and want to lose at least another 20-25 but I do have to remember to take it one day at a time, one good choice at a time. If you think of your goal as 35 lbs, it will feel daunting and undoable. Set yourself targets like "I'll lose 7 lbs by Christmas" for example, and work from there. I…

I love when that happens!

150.

I LOVE THIS! This is what matters in the long run! You guys did so great

I love dog parents like you. I have a crippling fear of dogs since being bitten as a young girl and find it so insensitive when people bring their dogs to public parks and don't think to leash them. Thanks for being responsible!

Use MapMyRun. It can track your speed, distance, calories etc. Just manually enter than in.

Ditto.

If you're looking for yummy snacks that don't make too much of a dent : Skinny popcorn(100 calories a bag and oh so yummy!), steamed edamame(season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and a tsp of butter), roasted unsalted nuts, oven baked potato/sweet potato/carrot "fries". To satisfy a sweet tooth I eat a piece of dark…

Don't think of them as "bad foods". I think of it like this - "If I eat fries everyday, I'll blow my caloric goal and not have much left to eat more filling foods" and that's why I won't eat fries everyday. During my TOM, when I order fries, I always get it with a lower calorie main course(salad, veggie wrap, veggie burger…
