Focus on the food. Make sure that your portions are accurate by using a food scale. Also make sure that the entries that you choose in the database are accurate. There are a lot of incorrect and outdated ones in there that make it easy for you to be eating more than you realize. It might be helpful for you to open your…

I find it interesting that it would upset her if this was on Facebook but it's ok for it to be in a public forum that can be seen by anyone with Internet access. It almost sounds like you think that you are better than her for losing weight and not eating ice cream. Maybe you should be more supportive of her and let her…

My fiancé recently joined an MC that has cookouts every Sunday. I haven't been to one yet but it will be interesting to see what kind of food they have there.

Hot apple cider. I had to go pick one up from Biggby's today. So good!

I think this is where a lot of people (including people doing WW) get confused. Free fruit doesn't mean unlimited fruit. Unfortunately WW does a poor job of getting that across and it trips and stalls a lot of people up.

Kai Hibbard's (from season 3) interview about her experience on the show inspired me to quit watching.

Maybe out of style was the wrong thing to say. My first thought was the episode of Sex and the City where Carrie made fun of her boyfriend for having his book character wear a scrunchie. I really don't see women wearing them much though.
-
I don't care how out of style they are, I love my scrunchies. They don't tear my hair out like regular hair ties do.

You missed the part where someone says that people who say they don't eat clean have a steady diet of pizza and Twinkies.
-
I put the pan I'm cooking in on the scale, zero it out, then weigh whatever meat I'm cooking. No extra container to clean.

This used to get posted often when I first came here. If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2lbs/week is ideal If you have 40-75lbs to lose 1.5lbs/week is ideal If you have 25-40lbs to lose 1lb/week is ideal If you have less than 25lbs to lose .5lb/week is ideal

Nice!

This grinds my gears too, especially if they are putting along at 10-15 mph under the speed limit. I live in Michigan and they were saying that the police were going to crack down on people staying in the left lane. It hasn't made any difference though.

I did the same thing you did, double logged on both apps. What did it for me was seeing how few calories I was eating while meeting my points goal. It didn't help that the points number seemed so small that it was stressing me out by lunchtime. One word of advice: if you do make the switch, give your body a few weeks to…

How about #5?

You can also turn those off in the diary settings.

I've had it for 7 years now and really like it. I tend to be one of those drivers that changes the channel a lot so I like the variety.

I usually use red kidney beans but I'm sure any kind would be good.

I've seen people get frustrated and give up if they haven't seen a loss in a couple of days. Sometimes all that's needed is a little patience, adjusted expectations, and a better understanding of natural weight fluctuations.

Do you see them while you are hanging out in biker bars or is this just what you see on tv?

Conflict avoidance. My mom is the type that will avoid someone for a long time instead of hashing things out and moving on. I've learned that doing that causes more stress than dealing with it.

My fiancé is supportive. He asks me how my workouts are and we do a lot of active things when we spend time together or go on vacation. He still buys me treats on occasion but I don't see it as him sabotaging my efforts. It's just a habit for him and I know that he doesn't fully understand how much food plays a role in…

That's why I tend to write and share blogs when I want to go in depth on what I'm doing with my weight loss stuff. I figure it's better to do that and share the link to give people the option to read it or not.

It's not the coffee you need to be mindful of but what you add into it. The calories can add up pretty quick, especially when you start looking at something like the gingerbread latte you enjoy. When I started logging I found that my favorite drink from the coffee shop was over 500 calories. Since I was having those…

I exercise on an empty stomach. It works better for me.

I have a goal but it's not set in stone. Once I reach that goal weight range I plan on figuring out where to go from there. I might lose more weight or I might go into maintenance and stay there. I stressed out enough about setting a goal while doing WW and it's nice to know that I don't have to do that again.
