  • I step on the scale a few times a day, but only update once a week. I like to see the fluctuations, I think it's interesting! I might be a little addicted to seeing the numbers, but not obsessed!
  • I just finished a skinny cow fudgesicle myself, LOL! I don't have to hide them though, my son has enough Halloween candy right now!
  • I've been using nike+ GPS and it seems to be quite accurate!
  • I try to leave about 200 cals in the green when I exercise - sometimes more, sometimes less(like today, LOL!) I figure they are there if I need them, but if I'm not hungry, I don't use them.
  • I've had two sections, and have lost 50 pounds, and I still have a pouch, but I don't think it has anything to do with my C-Section, because that incision is much lower. I think now that I am almost at my goal, I just need to focus more on strengthening my core!
  • I recently changed from 1.5lbs a week(1200) to 1lb a week(1300) and I lost 5 lbs this week, after 2-3 weeks of not much loss at all. I think it works, but I have also made sure to start measuring things again and to get more exercise in, so that has a lot to do with it as well!
  • I weigh in after I go to the bathroom in the morning, but I always have on my jammies. They all weight about the same, I figure, and I like the fact that I actually weigh a little less than the number I go by!!
  • What a cutie!! You got a like from me!! :)
  • I also use the Nike+ GPS app (for my iphone) but did have the sensor previously, and i found it to be fairly accurate. The calories are a bit low on the Nike app (as compared to my HRM) though.
  • Thank you so much everyone! I couldn't have done it without all the support I have received here!
  • Thanks everyone! It did feel great.. What a confidence booster!
  • Hey all! I'm still reading! Not getting on as much lately though! Laurie - Thank you!! I'm feeling great lately! I'm still trying to run 3 times a week - and I even ran 6k on Sunday! :) I'm on the lookout for a treadmill also - I'm in Canada and it's getting dark and cold here!!!

  • Great Job! You look so happy!!
  • Wow, what a transformation! you look fantastic!!
  • Thank you everyone!!! It does feel really good to finally be in control!!
  • Thank you so much everyone!! I'm 5'6" and 160 in my current pictures. I'd like to get to 135-140 eventually!
  • Here's a couple more!
  • I can say the exact same about you Theresa!!  And LOL about the 'girls' being smaller - I am SO thankful for that!!
  • Thank you so much everyone! I feel great... I feel better than I have in ages, and I can actually keep up with my kids! It feels so good to feel good! As far as my 'secrets' I can honestly say I have none, and that's why I think this worked so well for me! I'm not 'dieting' - I'm just watching what I eat, CAREFULLY!…
  • I just started again last night, with a HRM I only burned 150 calories in the 25 minutes... I was a little disappointed, but I can tell that it's working muscles in different ways, so that's a good thing too!
  • twinmom - i was contemplating starting c25k again with run/run faster intervals as opposed to walk/run intervals. I feel like I should up my pace a bit before moving on to longer distance as well, but I don't know!!
  • I might give it a try! I'm still working on upping my 5k pace though - are there podcasts for the 8k program?
  • Hey guys, I have missed you all!! I'm still trucking along, just going at my own pace now really, trying to get to 5k each time. My best time so far is 38 mins, and I'd love to have that down to 35 by my 5k in October, but really, the fact that I am doing this at all is awesome, so I really shouldn't care about the time!…
  • I also keep my running shoes just for running! I'm thinking of getting some of those EasyTone shoes for at work, since I'm on my feet a lot anyway...
  • Ditto this exactly!! I just got an iphone and have only run once with the app versus the senor w/Nano. I wear my HRM too to compare calories, and the sensor/Nano seemed a little more accurate, but I hadn't updated my weight in the HRM so I need to try again and see!
  • Congrats!! I've done some shopping in my closet, but now that I am officially pre-BOTH babies weight, it's time to get some new clothes. I'm kind of scared to though, because I don't want to fit into these for very long either!!
  • ljc - way to go!!! on our Nike+ challenge we are only seconds apart! I like the way you think, I have to try that too!! JPotvin - Good for you!!! Soon, it will become an addiction, you'll see! (And I also think your kids are adorable!!) Just did W8D1, but kept running until the 5K mark again! It felt really good today!! I…
  • JPotvin - Good luck with W2D2! Hope the weather stayed nice for you! Anne - I have a friend that rund half-marathons, and she swears by the foam roller! I hope it helps you! Max - you can get a sportband for the Nike sensor instead of using an ipod. I've heard good things about the Runkeeper app too though! Way to go on…
  • Morning everyone! ljc - I don't have the I touch, but I have an Iphone ordered, yay!! I can't wait till it gets here! Let's see if I can help you... Do you have your sensor upside down, maybe? There is a little button on the back you may have to press at first... it's a reset button but I can't remember if I had to push it…
