I recently bought a food scale and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I do know a few tricks for portion control when you are w/out your scale. I just finished a simple dinner of two scrambled eggs, 1/2 cup of black refried beans( fried in 2 tbsp. of habanero infused olive oil), 2 tbsp. of fresh homemade salsa, 24 oz. glass of cucumber water. I was feeling a bit lazy.
