I, personally, don't subscribe to "cheat" days or meals. If I go over, it was MY choice and by calling it a cheat, I allow myself to say my weight loss is NOT my reasonability, nor something I control because I get to cheat the system. Furthermore, there isn't anything in my diet that is off-limits, so I can eat ANYTHING…

I lose it first in my face. So I waddle around looking kinda scary with this HUGE body and little head. :(

I don't like bumper stickers, or window decals. But I want to get a personalized license plate frame that says something like "Protected by a Hell Hound" since I'm almost ALWAYS with my dog whose nick name is "hell hound" or "devil dog".

Luckily what you THINK has absolutely no effect on what OTHER people do with their life. If YOU don't like the way something looks, then YOU don't wear it. Meanwhile, I'll be speed walking around my neighborhood in yoga pants and a sports bra, with my big ole', freakishly white belly showing, or I might throw on a…

Make up your mind! If its people deadlifting in front of you, you have a VOICE! You can speak up and ask them to move down a couple feet. It's not REALLY about women in the weight room then.

I'm confused. Are you upset b/c they are wearing skin tight outfits, or because they DL in front of your bench? Because it SEEMS to be you don't like their outfits, and that is all. The good news about that, is YOU don't have to wear those outfits. Luckily, you have NO control over what other members wear to the gym. Be…

ETA cause I inadvertently hit ENTER too quickly. DOH! I agree with the above. My story: I am OBESE. So obese that it's MORBID! I was normal sized until about 7 years old, and then I started gaining and gaining and gaining. Elementary and middle school were the WORST. I was bullied. But I was bullied worse by people who…

I hate most onions. It was to the point that I refused to cook with them but I missed their flavor. I ended up picked up a sweet onion out of curiosity and it made ALL the difference, I can now eat them cooked or raw in dishes. Try different types to see if you find one that works well with your palate.

Not in a park, but where I live sidewalks are rare, so you're allowed to walk on the 2 feet of property at the curb. I was walking my then 4 month old puppy, when I stepped into a hole that wasn't visible through the overgrown grass in it. Went down like a fallen tree!!! Seriously sprained and twisted my ankle, but was all…

Well, five weeks ago (minus one day), I went over my calories goal by 318 calories, and it said I would weight 318.7 lbs in five weeks. Well here we are 5 weeks later and I weighed in at 320 lbs this morning. I don't find it to be terribly accurate, but it is nice to see at the end of the day. :)

When I first started on MFP, I felt so overwhelmed. OMG How do I do this?! So I just started logging. Whatever I ate, I logged. I tried not to go over but if I did, I did. As time went on, I realized I wasn't logging as accurately as I should, so I read some posts and got out my food scale. Now I measure everything and…

Thigh high boots and a mini skirt. :) I want to splurge on sexy under garments, and at goal, I should be able to fit into them.

Fit bit runs off an algorithm to predict calories burned over the coarse of the day. If you get behind the algorithm, it'll give negative exercise calories (deducting from food you can eat), and when you are burning MORE than it anticipates, it'll give you positive exercise calories (which add to your deficit). The…

my bad it's 70 cal per ounce (instead of the 50 I thought it was) w/ 6g of fat; comparatively Tillamook med. cheddar has 110 cal w/ 9g of fat per ounce. I don't think it's LOW FAT. And it doesn't taste low fat. It does have a STRONG taste so I don't need to use a lot to notice it.
-
I've been using a full-fat honey dijon dressing I picked up @ Sprout's. 100 cal for 2 tbsp (30g). I've also switched from medium cheddar to crumbled feta cheese. 1 ounce = 50 calories, versus tillamook medium cheddar 1 ounce = 110 calories.

My biggest goal I'm looking forward to is finally riding horses again.

Do you have a snack @ work that you can nibble on until dinner time? Or take a break from work and walk around the block. Drink some water. YOU are in control of this.
-
I glanced through your diary. Some days you are over (including exercise calories), other days you didn't log everything. So you COULD be underestimating how much you are eating. AND since you just started working out pretty vigerously, you might be packing on some water weight as your muscles repair themselves. Water…

^^ this. My train of thought follows along these lines. If it takes x amount of calories to maintain EVERYTHING that is already there, then if I want to ADD something I'm going to need to ADD calories (x + 500 calories) so my body can make magic! Conversely, if I want to LOSE something (fat, please go away!!) then I have…

Please open your diary so we can see what you are eating and where you stand with your goal.

I weigh EVERYTHING and normally it is just in front of my husband. He is 100% supportive of me, and will even weigh what he cooks for dinner (all ingredients, cookware, and final meal weight divided by servings) so I have an accurate number to tell me how much I can eat. I even weigh sliced bread! Fun Fact, an irregular…

Fiber isn't bad for you, per se, but then again moderation is the key. If you're eating copious amounts of fiber, make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Terrific job!!! I am so proud of you!!!!

Another +1 to prelog. I might be in a minority here, but I go as far as preparing most of the food the night before and logging it so I know where I am calorie-wise and can make better choices on the fly. For instance, I logged greek yogurt last night but decided my lunch was too much, I didn't have enough calories, so I…

While I'm not the OP and I haven't lost much, I do have a goal of dropping 180 lbs. For me at least, you take it one day at a time, one pound at a time. The goal is SO FAR away, that it isn't even on my mind. My mind is on my food for today, my exercise for today, and feeling great about where I am today.

Please open up your diary. It'll help people give educated suggestions.

Feel free to add me. I got diagnosised with PCOS earlier this year. I still eat whatever I want, but I know some PCOS friends that have better results on a low-carb diet. There are some PCOS groups here and be sure to use the search function to look up old threads. If you do end up dx'd as PCOS - remember that you are NOT…

I first joined a year-ish ago because ALL my co-workers were raving about it. But I didn't use it because I was already using WW. Well, I dumped WW shortly after and stopped weighing myself, and the pounds just piled back on and more. When I saw photos of myself at my father's funeral, I was disgusted. But I wasn't ready…

You CAN do this!! I "failed" a thousand times before, but I think each of those times was just preparing me for this time. I've only been doing this for 30 days (as of today, actually! :)) but for me, I started by logging EVERYTHING. Even if I went over. Even if I ate crap. Just log it. Get used to seeing how many calories…

I have boobs. And I occasionally get FR on MFP and almost never on FB.
