I've had a couple recently. -Being able to pull my "skinny" size 24 jeans up over my bum!! Still need to go a bit before I can button them up, but yay!!! -Being able to wear my Dad's wristwatch - I couldn't clasp it 8 months ago. -A shirt that I couldn't wear is now wearable but really tight. Progress!!

Man! I love corsets. Can't wait to fit back in the ones I own, but I cannot imagine LIVING in one for so many hours every day. The best feeling is when the corset comes off. lol!! Though they do great things (temporary) for my bust. :)

I highly recommend pre-logging the day before. That way you can plan and see where to add extra calories. Ever since I've started pre-logging, things go smoother during the day. Best of luck!

I had a BAD constipation problem about 5 years ago. You might need a suppository to get things moving and clear the pipes, and then try to get more fiber and water in your daily intake. As for great poop moving things.... --- lots of water --- meet your daily fat requirement (keeps things slippery enough to move down…

Congrats!!!! Great job!! Keep it up!! I'm so proud of you!

So MANY people experience the same thing. A bad meal turns into a bad day.... A bad day turns into a bad week.... Next thing you know it's been years since you logged and your "at your highest ever!" The best thing to do is to stop the cycle. Don't let a bad meal turn into a bad day, or a bad week, or a bad year. Try to…

I know how tempting it is to step on the scale every morning. Sometimes I do it too! But try not to, AND take some time to really reflect on WHY the number on the scale ties directly to your self-esteem and motivation. The scale can only have as much power over you as you GIVE it.

If I can fit it into my calories, I eat a small serving. If I can't fit it into my calories, like tonight, when I'm craving pudding and chocolate, I basically sit on my hands. I get a giant glass of water and stay busy until the craving goes away. Recently I discovered the more open I am about my craving, the faster it…

I hear ya!!!! I'm trying to get over the bump where I learn what makes me full and what is worth the calories. oh boy!!!! I agree with the other poster that you don't have to cut out your favorite things, you just eat less and you plan around it so you make sure you have the calories available to eat that cake, or drink…

Your weight can fluctuate by a couple pounds on any given day, for a variety of reasons. That is why its so important to weigh on the same day, at the same time, after the same activity, and in the same clothes. I choose Sunday mornings before breakfast. Its not good emotionally to check the scale EVERY day. You will end…

Still just WoW. lol!!!!!!! :)

I think a weekly goal of 1-2 pounds would be realistic and safe. Which makes your monthly goal ~4-8 pounds. Best of luck on your journey.

The fastest I lost was 30 lbs in 3-4 months - that's between 1.5-2.5 lbs a week. And that was on WW. I think aiming for 1-2 lbs a week is the safest way to go.

As soon as I get up, I get a glass of water and make sure it's by me at all times. When I'm at work, I have a 22 oz cup of water standing by and I make sure I drink whenever I can. When it's empty, I make sure to fill it back up ASAP. I try to make it a goal to finish whatever cup I'm on before I leave for the day. :)…

I have in incredibly long way to go. My "loss" part will most likely take near to 5 years to complete before I get to go into maintenance. What keeps me going is knowing that everyday: *I accurately and honestly log ALL food and drink *I try my best to stay under my calories each day *know that if I go over, I can find…

I'm not a mom, yet, but I'm trying to drop the weight so I CAN get pregnant. Feel free to add me. :)

Totally cliche, BUT, Eye of the Tiger is the BEST music for me when I need to motivate my *kitten* and get out the door.

I use whole antlers, not those that were split down the middle. I have not seen any of the dogs splinter an antler in the nearly 1.5 years we've been using them. As with any hard chew, there is a risk of the dog breaking a tooth, but I order thick ones that they cannot bear down on, and so far no one has chipped or broken…

I just joined the group, and recently re-joined MFP. I pretty much stick with WoW, with some occasional console RP games thrown in. I would love to make more friends for support. :)

I have a 2 year old terrier mix foster who can destroy and eat nearly anything on this planet. Her previous foster sent her to me with a Tuffy Toy (http://www.tuffietoys.com/) and so far she hasn't managed to rip it, or de-squeaker it. Other than that, my other fosters and my own 75 lb Golden Retriever Mix get carrots,…

I'm in a similar boat, minus the kids, but I'm trying to lose the weight so I CAN get pregnant. :)
