^^This. Talking to yourself and asking questions is a great way to figure yourself and your weaknesses out. Our rational minds are a bit more reasonable than our hungry little egos. Ask yourself why you want to eat...what do you think it will do for you, etc... May help prevent a binge and give you an extra push toward…

People on MFP are not doctors, so my suggestion is that if you aren't feeling better and are really concern you should go see one if you have that opportunity. Otherwise, I would also recommend drinking more water as dehydration can cause anything from dizziness to headaches. Also, if you are exercising hard, you…

Your body may need that energy for healing. I'm with other folks, listen to your body. If you feel like you have to do something, stretching, yoga, walking sound good

Thanks! Bumpity bump~~

Awesome! I often curse gravity for what the scale says. I am much more interested in body composition and the like. I do have a scale number goal, but I also have body measurement goals that are in a sort of range of what know my body can be (since I have been there before). Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for sharing! The last one is particularly important with mothers and daughters, as that is one of the first places we learn about body image... Wrote a blog about some of mine: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Mandchic/view/mandy-gotta-big-ole-butt-oh-yeah-144080 Enjoy ;)

My bf is trying hard, as he is allergic (causes sinus problems and rapid fire sneezing, stuffy head every time he eats it). And I want to go that direction too, as I believe (without doctor verification) that I have a disordered insulin response. My extra weight is very belly oriented, too. I also understand that gluten…

I'm from Georgia and I eat my grits with butter and sugar. Well, I used to anyway  Now, if I have grits I eat them with eggs...sorry, not trying to rub it in.... Oatmeal I like with smart balance and blueberries or honey...

All are welcome  As long as this is week 1, we will all finish within days of each other, so I think that is perfect. We can use this forum to motivate each other, since there are about 6 or so of us now. PMs and comments are of course welcome and motivating. If y'all aren't too shy, maybe we can all share our…

Me too! Every day for 30 days is my goal. It's only 20 minutes..... I see some people saying they are on level 10...my DVD only goes up to Level 3...? Are there more advanced DVDs?

WooHoo---Got 3 new friends to rock this month of 30DS--- My scale says I lost 2.5 lbs since Monday. That is more of a loss than I have experienced in any one week. I don't trust it, so I am not recording til Friday

Great work!

Wow! Awesome

Great work and such obvious changes. Keep it up

Phenomenal! I started yesterday..hoping I have equally great success pics

I started yesterday!! I will be doing Level 1 today again, for sure... I don't wear shoes when exercising inside unless the exercise I am doing is strenuous on my feet. Or working with weights. Shoes are good for safety in that situation

 You can do it, it's probably just around the corner. Strap it on and take it for a ride, lol!

^^This. Today matters more than yesterday. Every good choice we make is another step in the right direction. We didn't get this way in one weekend. We won't get fit in one weekend. And we can't destroy our progress in one weekend, either. Have a GREAT week!!

haha--that is awesome.....I think we all feel pretty proud when we match out license photo

Celebrate! But not with food or laziness.... Be honest with yourself and your friends. I started blogging. No one reads my blog, but it helps me to read it and I think it helps me to admit my weaknesses and put myself out there. Watching Biggest Loser was definitely motivating to me, I also like the show Heavy. If those…

I have a feeling single moms may have some insight on this "rare" condition.... Good for you for doing all you do :)

Great work! I think if I got back in the single digits again, my motivation would be to work to STAY there....getting lax or slipping back into old habits can easily find us back in our fat pants. That's no place for a fit girl
-
:drinker: thx
-
^^Yes. Agreed. ;)

I have about 30 lbs left to lose as well. You can add me if you want :)

Amazing job! Congrats :drinker:

Thanks for this post. I have a few MFPs that are struggling with ED and I see people say wtg when so and so has lost 6 lbs and it makes me want to scream. If those folks only knew what behavior they are sometimes commending. Loss is good for fat people, not for anorexics. If you have too many friends to know which ones…

Me: short curvy swervy Him: tall, thin I'm also 7 yrs older than him. We've been together 5 yrs and still dig the hell outta each other. Do what feels right, til it doesn't feel right any more. Who cares about appearances really..? Okay, so we all do. But we shouldn't. So don't.
