To hit my mini goal of 100kg by the end of this year.

Today I was on my computer at home doing some work and typing into chat with a colleague. I've been trying to do 'random bursts of activity' so I decided to do 10 knee pushups. Completely distracted by the chat, I dropped and did a pushup...realized coming up that I forgot to get on my knees and did a proper pushup! Then I…

See the dietician -- this is about the health of your child, not your feelings. They shouldn't be on your case, but on your side. Going to a dietician is the responsible thing to do here :) it'll put your mind at rest when you're eating with knowledge instead of uncertainty, and if the dietician is rude you should tell…

I was doing weighted squats at the gym this morning and one of the gym instructors came over to tell me I had great form  made my day!

I actually like the weight room better than anywhere else in my gym because all the 'bodybuilder typed' don't give a damn what anybody else is doing. Super focused on their own workouts and gains, and hardly notice anyone around them.

Trying to get to 99.9kg

I think it's worth it -- 3 weeks may not be the longest but it helps your body refresh its memory of proper lifting form. I never used to understand people who would say 'I had a big breakfast' or 'I had a big lunch' and not eat/drink/whatever. After all, who the hell skips a meal and a chance to eat food!?! Today I went out to lunch unexpectedly, and ate more than I'd planned for the meal...coming out to about 90% of my calories for the rest…

Today I went to the gym planning to walk for 60 minutes (it's one of my off days from weight training). 10 minutes in I got bored of walking and decided running would feel better! That's right, I actually *wanted* to run! I alternated running and walking for the next 35 minutes
