I'm basically doing this diet and I'd say add nuts for a start. I hit about 1,800 calls per day, so add me if you want to check my diary. I also do plenty of cardio on this diet, including training for a half marathon with no ill effects.

I'm on 1,800 calls and my meal breakdown is very similar to what you quoted. My main meal of the day is 600-800 most days, I maybe use more for lunch and snacks than you do but as long as you are feeling OK through out the day it doesn't really matter 'when' you use them IMO.

I used gels during my half but as others have said I used them during training runs to assess any negative effect on me, so if you plan to then try them in training first. Mental, I'm in training for a ha;f marathon and I only do cardio for 2 hours a WEEK. As many have advised get a more balanced workout and 3 hrs on that machine is fairly pointless IMO

Yep anything from the large American manufacturers, like Bud....... it's basically fizzy piss. As someone has already said the US Microbrewers are excellent though. I drink about 4 litres a day! God damn that's why I'm so fat (and not the 5,000 cupcakes). From tomorrow I'm switching to Coke and Vodka all day long, I'll be thin in no time

I drink 4 litres every day and your body gets used to it after a week or so, you then don't have to pee quite so often. That's 136 US fl oz, 0.88 US gal and 7 UK pints
