Hello! Yep another more SW that S here down in Somerset but I'm on quite a lot and am on a push hard for the next 6 weeks until I go on holiday so need all the friends, motivation, tips and inspiration I can get!

As a runner I'd actually disagree that it's the 'best' weight loss exercise, plus it's so harsh on the body (as you've found). Personally I lose the most body fat by doing the Fitness Blender HIIT's on youtube, they only take 20-35 mins and almost feel like cheating they are so effective for me. Try HIIT like a Girl or…

I'm kind of in shape, but not female, definitely apathetic and just eat and move sometimes.......

I lift and run on the same day when I'm doing speed or interval work of less than 45 mins, my long run days are lift free. If there is one thing i have learn in recent months now I talk to running coaches is that is quality over quantity, previously I ran 5 times a week at my "main" pace for at least an hour, since taking…

Open and Friendly here

If it helps you at all I'm a 6ft 2 guy who does about the same activity as you and I'm losing well at 2,250 cal per day
-
Nice post :)
-
Somerset here, anyone feel free to add me. I'm in all the time and give mutual support
-
UK here, on all the time been here 12 months so have experience and support to give, anyone feel free to add me
-
Wholemeal and whole wheat varieties of bread/pasta/rice tend to help keep you fuller for longer so IMO are "good"
-
38 and in the UK here, I'm in for mutual support! A great MFP network is worth it's weight in gold
-
I'm here and ready to support anyone that wants it in 2014
-
Yep feels harder once over 30 but slow and steady wins the race, every pound pushes you closer to your goal! I'm with you if you want to add me, same for anyone, I'm always here to support and be supported :)
-
Like I said in my message to you I've tried all the free ones and they are all pretty good, I'd be happy with them all if it wasn't for the extra mile that Endomondo (paid version) goes for me. Love the training plan and HR info.

Soooooooo much FAIL
-
I find with my HR monitor linked it's fairly accurate with cal burned, not that I really eat many back anyway
-
YAY add me! I'm always on here and am quite supportive! In fact anyone add me :) More the merrier :)
-
Good work mate and good luck for the next goal, I'll add you as I'm UK too, Southwest.
-
Yep I lost most of my weight this way, cleaned my diet up a bit at the end to help get the last few pounds off. Seems to help a little bit but not by the biblical proportions raved about by the die hard evangelists on here.
-
Yep agree with the others, nothing to forgive. Cheat days are part of this so you just wake up and start the day, crack on and get it done.
-
I'm active, on most days (especially in the week) and comment regularly. Always looking for more active friends
-
Good for you! This sounds like a great plan! I'm happy to support you in this if you want to add me.
-
I think this is ideal and whatever helps you. When I ran my half marathon and my 10K PB I used intervals 4:1 with the 4 pushing hard and the 1 easing back but all running.

It's so annoying when they put the cooked weight calories instead of the dry! Need to weight it after cooking really but my white basmati is 50g uncooked at 177 calories if that helps

This sounds very much like my diet, you need to add more 'good' fats to get those cals up. Just add a few nuts a day, the amount that fit into the palm of your hand plus a little good quality dark chocolate. Works wonders for me.
