  • I've lost 14 lbs, but more important my clothes are a lot looser over a 4 month period by following this method so this works for me. I also include cardio 5-6 days a week.

  • I was 245lb at 23 years old when i first started running, it was a real struggle at first but i kept at it. I'm now 39 and running 10-12k once a week and 5k 4-5 times a week. If you feel you can do it then go for it.
  • I was going to cut the running down once i start to gain weight back, no real goals i just want to be around the 13 stone mark with low body fat and lean muscle.   • I tend to lose weight better in winter as i am able to train harder in cooler temperatures. I usually eat the same amount of cals per week all year round as well
  • Thanks samstan, that explains why the high estimate, i ran this morning but didn't go to the gym today so my exercise levels are slightly down on yesterday.
  • Yes it does seem high, i entered exercise done and my age, height and weight and this is what it came up with. Assuming this is correct am i undereating?
  • Yes i'm male, i entered my weight, age and height in my food diary which came to 2400 needed, i then added for my morning run, the amount i cycle to work and back, my lunchtime weight session and the time i spend walking at work. This is probably why my calories burned seems high.
