For me, the saddest thing about this post is the fact that it could cause some people to have false hope, they may genuinely believe that if they stop drinking diet soda then they'll be magically cured of whatever ailment they have. Some people are very ill or have very ill relatives and are desperate for some "magic cure"…

I too would log, if only for the sake of consistency. I gave up drinking coke for a week and today I just felt like drinking it so I'm having a couple of cans. I'll log it, my sugar is way over for today already but I'm not going to beat myself up over it. Eating healthy is now my lifestyle choice but it doesn't mean I…

Amazing! Well done. You look amazing and I bet you feel too

You are gorgeous and such an inspiration! Well done on such a big achievement.

Eating my 1390 cals allocated and upping them a bit if I've exercised. Sometimes a little over, sometimes a little under - still adapting my food intake

Not sure I have the dedication and time for this 5 minute plan

Look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself some nice things, maybe things you'd like to hear from other people or things people tell you that you don't believe like - I am look amazing today - I look beautiful in this colour - I am such a nice person - It was such a nice thing I did for XXXX today etc .... It may sound…

This might not help so much with the chocolate but when I've been craving sweet things I grab a Jumbo Snack - A -Jacks Caramel Rice Cake, pretty filling and only about 51 cals? Even half is enough for me some times.

WOW - you look amazing!! Well done - such a huge transformation.

Don't underestimate yourself, there is a great difference between the two pictures - you've done amazing in a pretty short period. You look amazing, keep it up!

Cereal isn't great? Yikes I thought it was good for you, all that fibre? Still, I don't drink milk so never have cereal,I read something years ago that put me off and haven't touched it since which is a shame because now I never eat breakfast at all. (I know it's bad to not eat breakfast)

I love cream cheese, I love all cheese, I have grated cheese on almost all my meals. I need to stop but it tastes soooo good! I think the fact I find it all shocking is a good thing, it's an eye opener and something I needed to learn and realise in order to push me to really changing my habits.

Thanks for the additional info with regards to not all high cal food being bad for you, it's quite reassuring, although I think I'm still going to have to cut out most of my favourite foods as I am a bit of a junk food addict. I'm not going to overly stress about it as I'm at a good steady weight right now so I can cut…

I feel your pain. I am another coke addict - I knew I was going to have to cut that out completely, but figured I'd replace it with orange juice as I quite like it - put my first orange juice drink in and it's pretty much the same as coke! I know that orange juice is loads better for you than coke though despite the high…

I think as well as having to learn about calories I'm going to have to start looking into different ways to prepare foods I like as I think sometimes preparation makes a big difference. (I'm thinking southern fried chicken is going to have way more calories than grilled chicken for example). Glad I'm not the only one who…

I haven't checked eggs yet, is that another shocking one. I knew cheese was bad but I didn't actually realise HOW bad and cheese is one of my all time favourite foods. Really not looking forward to eating healthier and fewer calories.

That's just how I'd describe it, a headache in my knees. I'm thinking it's all just because my body (particularly my knees) just aren't used to this kind of exercise. I'll slow down but won't stop completely unless the pain doesn't subside after getting better running shoes.
-
The pain is more a dull aching all in the general knee area (kind of how I imagine arthritis would feel), almost how my legs felt when I had growing pains in my legs as a teenager. It's not sore to touch or swollen or anything.

What about childbirth? I've not seen anyone actually log it but if I gave birth you better believe I'd be logging that!! Surely it must burn a fair few calories - I was soaked in sweat when I gave birth, yuck!

I do 30 Day Shred barefoot but for the run I had to use a friends trainers as I didn't have time to buy any today, they were a little loose so that probably didn't help at all. Will buy some knee supports and decent trainers tomorrow and see how I get on, maybe slow down a bit and if it's not improved in a week I'll…

Thanks everyone. I think I knew the answer before I asked but was hoping I was wrong. Going to skip doing my nightly 30 Day Shred and will see what the pain is like in the morning. I think I'll still do Shred as I really enjoy it but switch the jumping jacks for something less strenuous on the knees and see if that helps.
-
I'm hoping to do this next year too. I'm sure I read on their website that you can skip any obstacles that you don't feel comfortable with. I'm putting the obstacles to the back of my mind, if on the day I feel I really can't do one I'll skip it - no shame. I think if I started to over think it all I'd build it up into…

You're doing amazing, well done you!

I have literally only just started this week to "get serious" - although until I've stuck with it for a month I won't consider myself serious ..... My excuses - I enjoy food, it's one of lifes pleasures why deny myself? I'm not overweight - whilst this is true I am extremely unfit which is my main reason for starting to…
